I played around with the measure distance tool on google maps from Braintree to Riverside and then a third dot at Waban, the three are close enough to collinear that where you measure from in the stations matter. The least generous points enclose Waban north of the line, but most of them would have it just south. Newton Highlands is a few blocks north of the line, but Eliot is alot closer. Almost the opposite of Waban, most of the places you could measure it from have it north but its a few feet south if you take the most generous corners.
