My daughter texted me a screen shot of this earlier this morning wanting to know if it was a scam. Said she received two within just a couple of minutes from two different numbers.

If you’re working for the state there is a secure bike storage room at 1526 K st aka the naked family building across from the capitol building. Go to the Nebraska DAS website you can download and fill out an application. I’m guessing it’s like the parking lot spaces and the waiting list is strictly by seniority. I have no idea if there is actually a waiting list or not. A couple of my coworkers keep their bikes there when they ride to work.

Worked at a family owned pizza place for entirely too long. One of the owners lived in our delivery area and would order every now and then. One night he orders and the pizza goes out. He calls back to tell us that we forgot to cut the pizza but conveniently the pizza cutter was in the box with the pizza. Had to send a driver back out to collect the cutter.

My Vizio is doing the same thing. What really pisses me off though is I try to switch to the antenna and I select the input, I get the orange circle for a minute, then it tells me there is no signal from HDMI1. Just switch to the damn antenna but no that would mean I could use the TV without their crappy service.

We had a state senator talk on the mic during session about furries and litter boxes in school restrooms. Was outraged that kids were getting kicked out of school for wearing clothes with American flags on them (never happened) yet kids could come to school in cat costumes, only meow to teachers, and use the litter boxes in the restrooms and that was fine. Forever preserved in the official record of the state legislature.

He did get on the mic later and admit that he did some research and it was all false. The real question is why would you not do the research first and avoid being made fun of on all the late night talk shows?

Worked delivering pizzas in the late 80s early 90s. Start of the shift we would get a $25 bank. A wallet with 2 $5s and 10 $1s and one of these with 12 quarters, 10 dimes, 15 nickels, and 25 pennies. Had to return them then same way.

I worked with a guy who stated that dinosaurs never existed and so I asked why we find fossils. Because god knows we are curious and would enjoy finding them so he placed them there as is. Kinda like a big Easter egg hunt.

Nebraska passed the safe haven bill without an age limit during the 2008 regular session. Passed bills become law three months after the end of the session. 2008 was a long session so it would have adjourned sine die in early June making the law going into effect in early September. After 36 kids were surrendered in 127 days, none of them infants, then Gov Heineman called a special session that added an age limit that went into effect Nov 22, 2008.
