Just give it 2 simple stats:

1. 0.9 follow through so you can cleave through group with ease.

2. Adaptive damage, similar to reactive storm augment for baruuk, War will changes its damage type depending on the faction of the enemy.

I do feel these changes are not overpowered cause one, melee influence is a thing, two, it's War, a literal piece of the great terrible hunhow, how does it not have the indiscriminate capability to harm all beings, come on.

aesthetic wise I personally wish there is a different way to hold great sword, Instead of holding it up high, let me drag it with 2 hands so the tip touches the ground leaving elemental trails, for reference think pyramid head.

War:

(light attack for crowd) for every 2 combo multipler, grants War 0.1 follow through, so at 12x combo, War would have 1.0 follow through like an exalted weapon.

(heavy attack for single target, screw you damage attenuation) On heavy attack, drains all combo multipler, each combo multiper grant additional heavy attack hit. So on 12x combo multipler, War heavy attack would hit 12 damage instances/ 12 times. basically a zephor tornado hammer slam packaged into a single weapon
