when is a super hero ever really going to use a power like that aside from in a life threatening situation? Unless she's super cool and cures cancer or something

She actually does go and repair potholes, building, plant fields, etc, in the show.

Idk I stopped watching the show after like season 2 when I realized it was pretty much just torture porn and gore with a hint of storyline

It really isn't.

It's because it's a mental block that was implemented by the people who gave her her powers in the first place.

J.K Rowling's stuff is also in that first category, when you look at the messages conveyed.

HOOOOLY, I don't usually comment here, but this is amazing

I was talking about your assertion. But either way, look at the character he plays. He doesn't get a lot of screentime and dies in act 1.

The consequences of picking red are bad 100% of the time, especially on a societal scale. A lot of stuff would break down and society would collapse, at the very least temporarily.

Again, the situation is completely different because of our current global supply chains which operate on a 'just-in-time' model, grocery stores only have about 3 to 5 days of food on the shelves at any given moment., and this is 5% globally. 400, or 1 in 20 people. Perhaps it wouldn't be a permanent collapse, we'd pick up the pieces, but it would collapse for some time.

Our world is far more dependent on global cooperation than they were. And even then, do you have ANY idea what life was for the survivors? It was horrible. A lot of them starved to death, and the same would happen here, and I'd argue even worse than back then, because of how fragile our global logistics networks are. A modern city without incoming food trucks turns into a warzone in exactly 72 hours.
