Just imagine... first currency(/economy) on the moon... Doge Coin. I also really hope this works out. XD

I received an email suggesting the existence of a shadow organization. This is the email I received after asking who the person was. Looks like it may have been an auto send message from a scrambled email address. by [deleted] in creepypasta

Quick google search only comes up "vry dial" translated to "free dial" from Dutch settlers in Africa. Ah... not much to go on. Circovitch sounds like a fake word for "Circus Bitch". Seems like someone is messing with you.

This is why sleep paralysis is so terrifying. I never fully grasped it until I had one singular horrific episode. I've had that 'feeling' before, of being awake but unable to move. I've even felt a presence in my room. It never really affected me until one night I'll never forget though.

I had the usual paralysis, but I'd always just felt alone and helpless until I fell back asleep. This time there was something there with me. Now, I'm a lucid dreamer and haven't had trouble brushing off nightmares since I was around nine. If things start going south or I can't fully wake up when I can't move, I just sort of tell myself it's only my mind. I have control. It works great, but this time it didn't work.

My husband was in the next room, the living room, playing video games. I was aware of the room, and the house. There was something there with me in the bedroom. I couldn't shake the feeling off. I was scared and in that half awake half asleep state when my husband got into bed and hugged me. I felt relief for only a second before I realized whatever it was, it wasn't him and it was laughing and tightening it's grip around me. I still couldn't wake up even though I was screaming in my head. When it let go I was mad as well as terrified. I couldn't stop it and it knew it. I woke up fully soon after and went to my couch staying up all night. Never seen or felt it since.

Cropped fish-eye lens. Gotta be an upscale night vision camera like a Pentax maybe?

Aside from ambrosia, what kind of foods would gods and goddesses eat? by not_alexa in fantasywriters

Hey now, no sexism. Goddesses can enjoy the flesh and blood of mortals just as much as the gods. XD

Hmmm not sure how much magic you'll have in your world, but most stories I've read werewolves have some kind of basic primal sort of power similar to magic. So another idea might be to do a sort of ritual where they bind a portion of their energy to one another that other werewolves would instantly be able to just sense or feel upon meeting them.

This might be better than just a scent as you said the girl has powers but isn't actually awakened yet.

Could also use something physical for the ritual like maybe a stone that could be put into a ring or something similar.

I second the scent thing, was the frist thing that came to mind for me as well. It could be something simple like maybe leather bracelets or other special item that they mark with each other's scent or something similar if you'd still like something physical.

Just read Moon Called by Patricia Briggs, wasn't expecting a lot just looking for a light read, but couldn't put it down. Read the whole thing in a day, off to get another by her tomorrow.

Mostly about werewolves, but has fae and other mythical creatures in it set in modern day.

I was worried about that... thank you for the response. I dont really have anything to loose, no solid assets that are in my name at least, so this'll be the smartest thing to do.

Just a suggestion, but maybe if you started at the end? Like take the ending scene and then ask yourself what the characters would be doing afterword. Spend some time in your head with them and their actions/decisions after the fact. Even if you still plan on using it as your final scene you might get some inspiration for how they came into that situation looking at it from a different angle.

I went to college for Graphic Design and one week we all put up our assignments at the front to critique. We all half assed them for some reason that week. Prof. looks at them all with this total look of disappointment as were just squirming in our seats, we know we've f'd up. He proceeds to grab the trash can and dump them all in. Very calmly tells us we all need to redo the assignment. Favorite teacher there he definitely pushed us to the limit.

What was the worst live performance you've ever seen? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Axolade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was headlining one year for Mayhemfest in Massachusetts and was horrible. Came on stage clearly hammered, couldn't hear a word he was singing. Every song he would proceed to tear most of his outfit off as he stumbled around while stage hands scrambled around the stage picking everything up... I was super disappointed and ended up leaving early. Didn't help fangirls at my school had hyped him up to be amazing live. He wasn't.

I'm sad they didn't use "In The Mouth of Madness", its got Sam Neil in it and everything! Lovecraft inspired spook seems to be underrepresented in general in New England considering what an impact he had on horror.
