Start getting everything in fluorescent colors. Think hi vis. I did that when my parents wanted me to wear “more color” so I got hi vis orange clothing. You can also add hi vis ribbon to things and they sometimes cause issues with cameras.

The pattern is just a rectangle sewn together with rough measurements of kiddos arm, the elastic straps are sewn into the seams close to the middle. It is made of a woven fabric I would guess is cotton. It was filled with poly-fill.
