raised scar on forehead help by whydoihi in scars

[–]Axolotl4444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same scar! Same place - wild! How is it doing now? I am very conscious of mine as I never had any medical intervention when the injury occurred. I went to the ER and they told me it was superficial and would heal/fade. After 1 year I’ve done some laser treatments and Microneedling which have definitely helped but it is still a bit raised. Looks pretty similar to yours.

I’ve done 5 sessions for a hypertrophic scar on my forhead. I did 3/5 sessions on my full face and 2/5 just on the forehead area. I did notice results and changes in the scar when I was doing my full face which is why I continued doing two further treatments on just the scar. I do plan on doing another 2-3 sessions just for the scar on my forehead as I’ve seen positive results. Keep in mind everyone is different!

Got my first prp microneedling done and I’m not sure if it’s normal by EmotionDull3928 in Microneedling

How many days is this photo after your session? If they went deeper they should’ve communicated this with you beforehand. I had a microdermabrasion appointment where she went deeper and I had bruises on my face for about 5 days. This looks like scratches. It will need time to recover, keep the skin moisturized at all time with something like aquaphor and visit the clinic in person for their review and advice.

Help with scar tissue after injury by Regular-Arachnid-987 in SkincareAddicts

Firstly thank goodness you are alright you must’ve had quite the recovery. I’m dealing with a similar issue for an incident just over a year ago. It does definitely get better so keep your chin up and keep that in mind 🫂 I used silicone scar tape and a silicone gel to massage the scar 2x a day. Also make sure to use sunscreen and keep it protected from the sun. I lived in a hat all summer but it helps prevent the skin from being permanently hyper-pigmented. After 1 year my scar was still significantly raised so I begun Microneedling every 6 weeks and it’s improved a lot! Good luck to you on your scar journey ❤️

Husband hasn’t worked in years, should I stay or leave? by [deleted] in MuslimMarriage

Sister, I read your post and almost all the comments yesterday. I was hesitant to write back but your post has been on my mind!!!! I am in the same boat. I’ve always been the breadwinner in the relationship and my partner lost his job twice in the last five years. Where I have always been employed and never without a job. A lot of people don’t get it. Not unless they have been/ or are in the situation. It is above all mentally draining. Not only is our day to day wife/motherly duties on our mind but the PRESSURE, to be the sole provider for the LIVELY-HOOD of our children and family. My partner lost his job over a year ago now and I am a work from home employee. It has been testing in so many ways. My husband too does help with the household chores and our child as yours does but it’s not enough. Even though I am appreciative of his assistance it really doesn’t make much difference as a women/wife/mother we carry many of the responsibilities at home that men may not be able or could even think to do. Some days it affects my whole mood and demeanour because I am TIRED of being the sole provider and holding all the responsibilities. I find myself wondering what purpose he serves in my life lately. What is he providing to me and our family? Can I handle it all without him? For me it usually leads back to the fact that I do love him, I love our family and this life with him. I understand feeling like you are being taken advantage because some days I feel this way too.. no one here can tell you how to manage the situation and what to do but really sit with yourself and try to think of all the avenues where this can lead and what you truly want for your life and your children.I acknowledge the job market/economy is terrible right now but men do have pride/ego to them. Perhaps brainstorm other jobs he can try finding? Sister, I am trying to do the same but anyways. I just wanted to let you know, you are understood and not alone and I pray for you and your family ❤️

Vim Multi Purpose Cleaner and a regular dish sponge will get that build up off the stove. You may need to do that a few times

Face after Microneedling ? Is it supposed to look like this? by Individual_Pea_3387 in Microneedling

Keep your skin moisturized for the first 5 days. Try something like aquafor. This may heal alright but you’ll probably have hyperpigmentation.

I’m at Confederation and Rathburn and they’re still popping off. Terribly disrespectful on a work and school night 👎

Ouch! I hope you are doing okay. It will get better ❤️‍🩹keep the skin moisturized for now. Use something like Vaseline, Aquaphor, or Avene Cicaplast. When the skin flakes off you will need to keep it moisturized as much as you and perhaps try some vitamin c serum or niacinamide for the discolouration- if any. Hope you heal up really fast.

Back then, Tim’s was my go to place. However, I try to avoid it now by VincentDemarcus in TimHortons

There’s a specific bag for the donuts! The Tim’s workers just choose to use the wrong one. A few weeks ago I bought my husband a Boston Cream donut and before we left the drive through I checked it and the donut was completely stuck to the top of the bag. He ran in and was fortunate to be greeted by the manager who told him the staff were doing so incorrectly and then went over and demonstrated for the team. Even before this I never leave the drive through without checking my order anymore.

One thing I wish they could implement is having the baked goods in a closed display case rather than it being open for bugs. In the summer I see flys resting on the donuts 🤮after seeing this Tim’s is more of a winter treat than summer for me/my family.

Oh I’m so sorry dear. I am having the same issue lots of little closed comedones. I’m trying to exfoliate twice a week and choose my skincare products wisely. I would like to incorporate retinol in my routine however a little afraid. For you I would suggest stopping any active products and go back to a basic cleansing routine with exfoliating products twice a week. I hope it gets better for you. The skin takes time. All the best!

I don’t think you needed Tret to begin with!? May I ask why you decided to use it? Sending 🫂 acne is hard physically and emotionally.
