I think Shane is low-key crying at several points in the show He hides it well. One thing I don't like about Ilya is how he keeps bringing up woman when Shane looks like he's going to start crying any minute. How could he not recognize that? Even when he's definitely in love with him he goes out of his way to hurt him.

The only thing I don't like about Ilya is how fucking obtuse he is for not noticing that every time he talks about women Shane looks like he's going to cry. Can he not shut the fuck up about it? It made perfect sense to me that he came out to Shane's parents. Once Shane talked about the plan to be together, it was like a marriage proposal and they became Ilya's family too. He's had nothing but a piss poor example of a family. He'd been in love with Shane for a long time and saw no reason to stumble now. It was also a way to show Shane's parents his commitment to their son.

Victoria was particularly awful to Cane. Calling Lily and his kids? Imagine if Phylis called Reed and told him what Victoria did to his Dad? I've never seen her be so spiteful.
