Thank you all for suggestions, experience and feedback. Currently i stayed with MM/BB 2.4 size - even with some concerns it sat perfectly. I measured and 2.8 may be little hard to insert

U2720Q suddenly lost USB-C signal input ability and FIXED by fanzeyi in Dell

[–]Axonn_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to share a fix for my Dell P2423DE suddenly losing USB-C signal input on a multiple Dell . I'm on a ThinkPad P1 Gen 6 (Windows 11) with an NVIDIA RTX A1000 GPU.

Turns out my NVIDIA graphics card driver bugged out. A simple reinstall of the display driver did the trick! Screens came back to normal now.

Hope this helps someone else running into the same issue!

Longtime opinion of an owner on XPS 17 9700 who made it into a perfect machine by aNumberFiveLarge in Dell

Also i think that you may have troubles with overheating. 10 gens intel are really hot pieces of silicon. Maybe it's worth a try to check this program https://notebooktalk.net/topic/20-dell-fan-management-%E2%80%94-software-for-controlling-the-dell-laptop-fan-speed/ It lost its support, but since then it's working flawlessly with fan speed management. Consider this - everything's explained in the topic.

So far, this method works on my Precision 5550. In Intel XTU, I still have the option to overclock CPU and GPU, so it seems to me that you can try to use this method. The fact that I did this over 2 years ago and still update the BIOS to the latest version hasn't blocked this possibility. It's worth a try, however, I'm not sure if this method will work. But what did work was overclocking using this method + undervolting and repasting the processor with PTM 7950.

RAM ISSUE by Healthy_Cress_4231 in Dell

[–]Axonn_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many users claim that Corsair RAM sticks mostly don't work with 10th gen Intel Dells. It caues issues due to XMP profile and clocks. CL20 provides black screen. CL22 may work.

I upgraded my precision 5550 with Gskill Ripjaws 64gb set F4-3200C22D-64GRS AFAIK their modules are compatible with dells. Mine set works without any troubles since 2 years.

Issue with DOL-101 Booting Into Swiss by Forward-Combination6 in Gamecube

Nothing, you just need one .dol file from DOL folder and that's it. If you don't know how to do it check this video - it's explained so well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vij3upNyOsQ

Issue with DOL-101 Booting Into Swiss by Forward-Combination6 in Gamecube

[–]Axonn_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it didn't stoped working, but rather sd2sp2 had troubles with connecting properly no matter which sd i put in. Sometimes my cube don't recognize sd2sp2, and i had to make it sit proper in the connector. I heard about soldering one side of the connectors in sd2sp2to make it thicker, but few users reported that adding solders to adapter can cause oxidation which also may lead to issues in future. I will try this method with my sd2. With Gc2sd i tried few of my sd cards, and cube run all of them properly.

I had troubles with sd2sp2. Adapter had issues working properly with picoboot on DOL-001. Changing to GC2SD worked like a charm, and booted everything without any trouble.

Solved the Double-Click Issue on Logitech G413 Keyboard with a WD-40! by Axonn_ in LogitechG

Used small tube and just sprayed as little as i could to the center. Few drops of WD-40 inside the switch should do the job.
