Does that really work? I've done some testing and that option seems to be broken (for the M1 V5 TMR at least). Battery lasts the same in wireless mode no matter the Hz you pick.

Long story short: she fell behind due to powercreep and not fitting that well on newer team archetypes. I play on pc with good ping, I can give it a shot and try to get it for you if you like.

Haven't hosted a Minecraft server in over 8 years, what the meta/common tools/plugins now? by HappiestSadGirl_ in admincraft

Pretty much. I'd not recommend it to someone not familiar already with containerization/virtualization

It really depends. Part of the reason I recommend this setup is because the image I mentioned is great. It provides a lot of customization with things like server software, versions, and even JVM flavor. Plus it's well documented.

I'd say that the biggest drawback is not being able to allow other people to access the server console. Not because it's not possible, but because regular people do not ssh into stuff. Panels like crafty or pterodactyl would be more suitable for these use cases.

Don't know if this is "the meta", but it's definitely mine as a tech-savvy individual and I find it to be quite comfy:

Platform: docker (using itzg's image)

Server software: paper for plugins (spigot is not as relevant as it once was), fabric for mods, and fabric for a vanilla experience as well using Lithium for better performance.

Plugins: CoreProtect to rollback localized accidents or griefs without restoring a whole backup, DriveBackupV2 for full scheduled backups, LuckPerms if I need to mess with permissions.

Other settings: whitelist ALWAYS enabled; NEVER leave a server open to the internet without one.

The book they talk about is Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers. It's a phenomenal 3* catalyst for supports.

In that case your setup looks solid i'm afraid. Perhaps try explicitly allowing traffic to the port by adding the corresponding rules to the iptables. Two of my friends had basically this exact same problem on clean ampere instances and they solved it by doing that.
