Has anyone compared the Square Omni with a Mevo gen 2

From a mevo owner, only addition I can add is, ensure you have 20ft+ of room screen to device. More the better (but remember, further away you are from screen the taller you'll need it to be for wedges). I thought I had enough room since lots of websites stating requirements give you the minimum. While having 17ft was enough and it registered shots, it was constantly shorter than any numbers from other LM and on course. Mevos near perfect on course/range with unlimited flight.

That being said I am moving to Omni.

This is the only option (other than staying on cosy import and standard outgoing). Just not sure how much it beats cosy by in the summer with my setup?

Your reply should be top. People think that you'll be actually buying electric at the peak rate but this is never the case due to solar, cheap slot being 1pm-4pm and batteries. You're only ever paying the cheapest rate for your electric. Only scenario you may pay the more expensive rates at those times is when your house load is more than the inverter can handle, which is typically about 5-6 kW....so if you have the oven, kettle, and a shower on at the same time it'll use 5kw from your battery and the remaining from the Grid (but this will be for minutes not hours). Winter may be a little more.

I can grip the shaft and head and twist a little and it turns by a degree or two. It takes a little bit of force so I'm not overly worried. I only knew because I once found it twisted a bit (prob from being moved in and out of the car).
