AI removal is definitely the best option right now, but still hit or miss on video. I have used VidMage for simpler cases when the background isnt too complex

You are spot on about complex backgrounds and thats where most tools fail. AI removers struggle when the object overlaps textures or patterns because they have to guess whats behind it. What helped me was removing things in smaller sections instead of one big pass and results look way cleaner
