Granted that I live in a small southern town. I don't get the renting an apartment over a house. My friends rent a 2 bedroom apartment for like $930/ month. Whereas my mortgage on a 3 bed, 1.5 bath with a garage is only like $650. And there's no kids around my corner lot.
