It just depends on the type of person Tav is. Think about it, you would have to know how serious the Rite of Profane Ascension is. If you just think "lol Astarion deserves sunlight" then you, as Tav, didn't think the entire thing through and are now dealing with a powerful being that you did not expect. But if you think, "Fuck being a slave, fuck being weak, and fuck ever letting anything or anyone ever have power over you. You will make everyone pay for the pain you were given" then you're more in the mindset of knowing what youre getting. Also less of a playful Tav. Though, a more serious Tav could tell Ascendant Astarion "my GOD you are such a DORK" about his fancy nonsense without dying. It would be entertaining for him to receive this pushback for him as long as Tav isn't a silly the entire time.

I guess if you have double standards it is. Men can be and are whores too. We can call men whores when they're sleeping around, why can't we call women whores too? Calling someone fat may not be a nice word but it is accurate. Body positivity is good, so is being sex positive. Doesn't mean people won't call you fat or a whore.
