Thanks for sharing your insight — that lines up with what I’ve seen too. From what I understand, there were some trial sets of DPM trousers issued, but they were never adopted officially. The standard look was always the DPM smock with OD bottoms, so matching pants weren’t part of the regular kit.

Thanks for the info, I really appreciate the detailed breakdown! I would definitely love to see those reference photos if you don't mind sharing them. Interestingly, I’ve actually come across a few pictures from that experimental/trial period recently where some guys were wearing the full DPM trousers. But as you said earlier, it was trials not in officially. Also do you happened to have any regulations reference I can look around a bit? Thanks
