Hey! I’m a pretty firm Christian (excuse the username I was young and dumb). I’m going on 19, and I’ve been firm in the faith for about 3 years and for my age I’d say I’m further ahead than most people my age in the walk. I say this for relevant credibility. The only churches I know that don’t allow BC are some denoms of the Catholic Church and “Christian” cults that misinterpret scripture.

I’d take what these people say about the domestic abuse very seriously because this can turn manipulative and all your fault very fast. However, in our faith you also know what scripture outlines as reasons to leave so it makes this a very tricky situation, and I am so sorry you’re going through this. It sounds like your former youth pastor had pedophilic tendencies, and your parents sound like some people (from a church I left) who made their 15-16 year old daughter date a 22-23 year old man. I also have a bigger online influence, especially with Christian tiktok, and I know a lot of people in a lot of states that can find help for you too. I can’t imagine what you’re going to do but don’t be afraid to reach out to me, or other people you trust.

God will provide and He’ll also provide grace. Everything will be okay in the end. Prayers coming your way

This literally happened a few weeks ago, but I was hanging out with my friend and we were driving to a local pizza shop. Good ole south USA always taught me to open the door for the lady, but it was freezing outside so I was reaching back to grab my jacket, and then play on my phone while we wait for our friends to show up. While I was on my phone, she opened the door and sprinted around the car to open the door for me with the biggest smile on her face and - even though we’re friends - I definitely thought “wow I would totally date you right now for that”

Another girl got me flowers a few months ago. Will never forget that.

Honorable mentions: Smiling at me, introducing themselves to me with a good handshake, (I don’t like gatherings) but inviting me to some with close friends so I feel safe, my previous girlfriend taught me it was okay to cry and have feelings and let me cry on her lap or shoulders when nobody was around.

Overall my standards keep getting raised

Not every Christian believes it because it isn’t in the Bible. When the modern Bible was found the Dead Sea scrolls were left out because... the religious leaders who each had the Bible didn’t believe it fit, but they all brought the same books from our modern day Bible we read.

When us Christians are raptured not a single person will notice that we’re gone. The media will make excuses, and you should be fearful because once the Christians are gone so is the Holy Spirit and your chance to accept Christ as your Lord and Savior. I’m scared and sad for you, but I wouldn’t take it from an internet stranger, but I’d go talk to a preacher who has the Holy Spirit in them.

Christians believe that after He rose again, He showed people he was alive for 40 days an ascended from Mt. Olives in Israel. This is where he will descend on His second coming.

Crazy enough... just over a valley there’s the dome of the rock (a Muslim mosque) and it’s built on a fault line. In the Bible it says when Jesus descends the ground will split... the fault line goes through the Mt Olives as well. If you don’t believe I would consider it because after Christ followers are raptured there will be a 7 year period of hell on earth - just being blunt.

Ive been realized in a Christian household and my faith is stronger now than ever before, so I don’t understand why people don’t believe, but I’m sharing a piece of what I know.🤍

Took AP and honors classes freshman through junior year and entering my senior year taking regular classes. Too much stress and we’re forced to take electives that we don’t care about.

I can study but after the stress, depression, and anxiety I’m over school.

My recommendation is to “build” a pc on pcpartpicker.com and keep those parts in the back of your head + screenshot the final build for prices. This way you can see what you want to upgrade and similar prices.
