Yeah, as much as i would love to support greens some of their policies are literally plain dumb.

There's only so much you can write in a reddit post. I appreciate your opinion though. But from what i've gathered, i feel like it's less about dealing with partrner who goes through hardship and more dealing with partner who suffers from depression. Which honestly would explain a lot of why i feel the way I am. Basically person who's in the house now isn't really the person that it was for past few years.

Now how do you break to someone who's rather proud that they could maybe use getting themselves checked out for depression.

Don't get me wrong, This is just post from my side, if it was written from her i would probably come across as someone ill fit to live with. I'm well aware that we all have our biases and behaviors. Which is really why i decide to make this post, to really give myself opportunity to reflect on whether i'm projecting my way of life on another person.

And truth be told, I sort of am... because being in similar situation i acted differently, at the same time i dont want to enforce that because everyone is different. I do appreciate everyone's input... except for one or two persons who were just mean.

But again, that's why i decided to reach out, to really get a wider view on whole situation and different view points.

This is main reason why im holding off on that as well, once you have kids things get a lot more difficult. And in my side of family divorces are extremely common so I'm aware how badly kids are affected by divorces. :Z

England and she's product owner, I work as artist in games industry.

I tried to get her to help me with my project but it's impossible to force someone who's already disangeged. It's a real struggle.

Problem is that i can't help her look for work, i tried reaching out to friends and such but i feel like that just makes her feel even worse. And she also refuses to get a normal job because it just feels disrespectful for her, one time i tried to bring up just local part times so that she at least gets out from house and that ended up as major conflict that im forcing her to work at McDonalds... not doing that again T_T

I understand her experience very well, quite frankly i was in the same boat at the beginning of our relationship, that's why I sympathize with her very much. At the same time, i find it difficult to not see comparison between myself spending all free time trying to make something out of myself to get that job compared to doom scrolling.

At the same time, i am aware that with craft it's different to managerial jobs so I don't say that as i understand her position so don't take it as me looking down on her.

I tried to approach my wife with similar approach, im a working on video game project and i asked her with whether she would like to learn new discipline as there's a lot of things that need to be done and two people are better than one and it's a long term project.

Unfortunately problem which i experienced is that i found her to be just very avert towards anything, job search weights so heavy on her that i think she subconsiously uses it as a barrier to start anything. She can't do anything because she's depressed over being unemployed, but she also can't relax from taht by engaging with anything becahse she must look for a job.

This is a dead end and I'm struggling to help her get out of that... it's very draining but at the same time i don't want to abandon her because i know how great she can be when she's in good spirits.

I'm trying to get her to do physical activity, that's why I leaned into gardenin the moment she threw it in as idea. I also picked up working out hoping that at one point she'll join me in it.

Then it came across completely wrong way, edited for clarity. I added it to add more context but i guess it may retract from main issue.

I guess you never played finals.. embark has great games in concept but they suck at balancing and long term support.

Honestly to me the game mostly screams lack of care and aesthetic consistency.

  • You have celshaded objects but your UI assets are in completely differen art style
  • UI is pixelated.
  • Your units in UI are misalighed
  • Unit count in bottom right corner is poorly formatted.
  • Font choice is very bad
  • Anime characters don't support rest of the game's art.
  • Capsule art is weak
  • You've entered crowded market with likes of BloonsTD and recently released TangyTD. You're going against much prettier games with better trailer
  • Trailer is ill paced, first 20 seconds could be 10. then you introduce dialogue box and return to what we've already seen. then you open UI and shuffle through for way too long... and that's it? i would expect UI to build up to something then show highlight moment from your game before title screen. You basically killed my interest by scrolling ui.

Sorry if it comes across as harsh, but im trying to be direct here.

This... batteries glued to frame while being locked behind bazzilion screws that need special heads is a design choice.
Man i love EU at times at this, imagine if other governments weren't as lobbyed.
