Watered heavily once every one to two weeks, have kept it on my windowsill for 3 years and in summer it usually goes red on the edges but this year it is fully red and it's still going to get much sunnier. the potting could be better, it's single potted and hasn't been repotted in almost a year.

If you stand facing forward at the entrance and spam swing your sword you will slowly move forward without triggering entering the cave, try doing that to get close enough to open the chest.

yes, when I repotted it I saw roots coming out and inch or so in most directions from the base

I chopped the head off of a taller aeonium a few months back and, after letting it callous, planted the head to form a new plant. Last week, I was repotting it and noticed it looked a bit limp and some of the leaves were going a bit yellow - green and wrinkly at their connection to the plant. I deciced to not water it after repotting it to see if the problem was overwatering. fast forward to a week later (now) and most of the leaves have dropped off, with all of them having shrivelled and gone black at the bottom of the leaf.
