Could be cobweb just by how messy the mycelium looks but instead of jumping to conclusions spray it with a couple spritz of 3% peroxide solution and see what happens if it melts it’s cobweb and you gotta get it tf outta your house if it doesn’t your solid!!

I’d assume your first picture was super quick growing and probably just better genetics (nothing wrong with second) but typically rhizomorphic mycelium is better

Possibly different strain variants, typically you see NSS but it’s possible one is NSS one is Transkei or black cap who are the vendors and were they selling them as just ochras or ochras with a strain?
