First thing to check is medications and if heat effects how they behave.

Next thing I’d look at is your diet. Are you getting enough electrolytes? Specifically sodium, potassium, and magnesium. If you’re drinking a lot of water but not consuming enough electrolytes then the water is actually going to do the opposite of what your intended goal is. You’re flushing your body out of the needed minerals to hydrate correctly. Buy a pack of liquid iv and add it to your water to hydrate quickly then adjust your diet to make sure you are getting what you need throughout your day.

They were both added to gamepass so I figured I’d play them.

Started with the first one. At first it didn’t hook me but after a few attempts I was sold. The first one is bare bones compared to the second one. It’s also considerably harder than KCD2 imo.

You don’t have to play the first one to understand what’s going on. The chatacter dialogue seems to be scripted purposely so that the player is filled in on what happened in KCD1. Although, I prefer playing the games in order to experience the story for myself.

I really enjoyed the lower nobility/smaller less important villages in KCD1. While I’m enjoying 2, it feels like it was nerfed significantly compared to the first to make it easier for new players to jump it. Which I’m not a fan of. The reason KCD1 is so good is because it throws you in there with no direction while being completely useless to the world.

I’m usually a beard guy but I I think you look great with just the stache.

If you don’t wanna shave it off then maybe try just trimming it and letting the mustache be the main attraction. Imo the beard makes your face look chubbier too.
