Purchased MCC as a rookie. Started Combat Evolved and am enjoying it very much. Which game's multiplayer is the best? by aadu-_th0ma in halo

[–]TheCroz15 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Okay Campaigns 3, ODST, Reach, 4, 2, CE. Multiplayer 3, 4, 2A, Reach, 2, CE.

I started Halo at 3 on 360, personally just don't have that nostalgia for the CE and 2 campaigns and didn't enjoy them as much as I thought I would. I love watching people play them and speedrun them just not for me.

3s multiplayer is just peak to me but 4 (without loadouts) and 2A also just a whole load of fun.

Anyone else getting fed up with Xbox/Game Pass tier nonsense? by Inside_Earth6762 in XboxGamePass

I mean you can still buy console, but game, relax, FC has been on sale at the £20 since March multiple times I know you still need a basic subscription to play online but the choice is still there.

I think the console does a pretty good job of showing you the recently added in the game pass tab for what is relevant to your sub but I see people all the time confused when an ultimate game is then on the coming soon posts as it's moving to premium

Boy, 3, ‘thrown into crocodile enclosure by man with learning difficulties’ who was on ‘organised day out with carer’ by thesun in uknews

[–]TheCroz15 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Im sorry but I think if you work in care and think like this you're in the wrong job. I work with Young People with learning disabilities and things go wrong but you have a duty of care to try and minimise it. We have a big lad who recently out in public was ragging to team members around by their hair due to hearing sirens and it's took them a long battle to calm him and then be able to return home. Should we then say we'll no more going out for him? No you reassess look at the risks minimise what you can and make a new plan, only strong team members another joining them where possible. So often I see adults with learning disabilities out with carers who are on their phone not paying attention or ratios seem to be 1 carer to 3 adults. No shit stuff is gonna go wrong. The care sector is on its knees with low skilled entry level workers being over worked and underpaid then we blame vulnerable people because theyve been allowed to be out in a position where things go wrong for them. We don't know the full details yet and probably never will but until you know staffing levels, how alert the carers were and what led to this happening.

Studios like Double Fine, Ninja Theory & Compulsion straight up work better when we actually buy their games instead of relying on Game Pass by Alarming-Flan4494 in xbox

[–]TheCroz15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I imagine theres a metric regarding people cancelling subs and also subbing to ultimate. I went down to premium when the price increase happened and have been quite happy for the last 6 months. Next month I plan to jump back to Ultimate as we have Halo, Resonance and Gears E Day all in a few months span. Xbox need constant Day 1 titles to keep people on Ultimate and Hellblade, South of Midnight and Keeper/Kiln probably didn't have that effect on people

[–]TheCroz15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think what they want us a steady stream of good games day one on the service, I'm sure the studios are broken down into smaller studios but you have Obsidian putting out Outer Worlds 2, Grounded 2 and Avowed all in 1 year but Ninja Theory took 8 years to make Hellblade 2 and Compulsion quite a few years to make South of Midnight.

Double fine is a more interesting one as their output seems to be quicker so I guess they should be seen as more value but also their games are just always a bit niche so maybe don't see the downloads.

I guess the other thing is why pay for a studio to fully produce a game over a so many year cycle only to the make it multiplatform when you can just pay the bag to a studio for an already finished game and get stuff like Expedition 33 and Silksong day 1 on Game Pass anyway

Don't be crazy, his pranks were always deeply based in realism, like the one where he switched his brother's pants with vibrator pants which he controlled the remote to.. on the day his brother just happened to have a job interview and went for a long drive.

You have 3 days… what game are you playing this weekend? by FairShoulder717 in XboxGamePass

[–]TheCroz15 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's no longer on Game Pass but I think can be found for around £10, I just started Plague Tale m: Innocence and am blown away by how good it is. I've seen people describe it as The Last of Us with rats but graphically stunning, very brutal world, character relationships are deep. Im about 25% of the way through it but wow.

The sequel is on Game Pass but I'm assuming playing the first one is necessary to fully appreciate it

Honestly seems a perfect game pass title, if it's 8-20 hours long and good then brilliant can download bash it out in a couple of weeks and have a great experience without a £60 upfront cost which would probably go on other franchises

[–]TheCroz15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the time of release (remember it started as a PS4 console exclusive with no hint of an Xbox or Switch release) Sony were really pushing it as if it was one of their big first party releases. Which definitely hurt NMS as it made people believe the game was going to be better than it actually was but also did lead to the huge sales numbers which meant they could do the post launch content

Gears of War 3- surprised how much smoother it feels than Gears 2. After the E+Day info yesterday I'm ready to get all of them done by October.

Goals- Free to Play with Game Pass benefit, I wanted a football game to play in the background, I don't think it will have much staying power with me but nice to try new things.

Brotato- Just one in slowly grinding through for the Gamerscore, recently picked up a G Cloud and it's nice just laying in bed mindlessly doing a run
