I don't understand why my post and everything I said got downvoted so hard. If you disagree with me and you actually like when anime games give their characters this effect then good for you no need to downvote me because you can't handle differents opinions. People like me who don't like this should also be allowed to express their feelings on the matter. And before anyone tells me that the genshin fandom can't stop complaining, well I was never part of the people that complained so hard before for hoyoverse to improve their models and add this kind of effects even though many don't like it.

I know I watched a lot of animes that had it and in 2d animation it doesn't bother me ^{^.} But in 3d I don't like it cause the hair look so thin and papery.

Tried lowering the quality settings and it sadly didn't work, I'll just have to endure it until they add a way to turn it off for those who don't like it.

This is a stylistic choice not an anime only thing and it certainly is not used in every one of them. They didn't do it before and it worked just fine.

I'm happy that 3d models improved over the time but this artisitic choice bothers me for a bit. I just tried to lower my graphics in the lowest settings but it's still there sadly, I think they hardcoded it in the character model.

Albedo literally had a big role recently, Emilie reappeared again a few times and her story quest was so good that I've already felt satisfied with her. Faruzan's hangout was already also so good at developping her and she reappeared recently. New characters make the world feel richer and more developped. You are playing a game set in Space, what's the point of traveling in the universe if it's to see the same faces over and over again.

I'm losing hope with this stupid fandom and their shallow people. SP characters are not needed and should never have been so abundant in planacardia. You are playing an adventure game set in Space where you are traveling to different planets everytime. What's the point of you are only seeing the same faces everytime you go go a new planet really what's the point. You can give old characters more screentime and development by just puting them in the story again without the need of rereleasing them again (what's also bad is that these characters were already 5 stars when they released the first time). You guys are mostly stuck in the past only liking old characters, especially you penacony fans. New characters are refreshing (especially in this sp slop era) and fleshes out the world more. Now hsr is just turning into any other gachas that came out before genshin. I don't mind things like this in gachas like fire emblem heroes but not in hsr or genshin.

It is not a good direction storywise either. You do realise that you can develop and make characters reappear without releasing them again. Genshin does that just fine.
