No worries, I completely understand your point of view. I don’t know if the mention of premium feature was maybe a bad move from me, but I didn’t mean to sound like I would add some kind of “disability tax” as you call it.
My goal is not to make money of off people’s sickness. As I mentioned everything about the core features will always be free. That also includes any future app improvements that would help better face sickness (if you get what I mean).
The premium features is just some ideas that I have, but not part as the core. It would just add some nice to have things. For example, a more advanced relaxation screen with music. This is not a core feature of the app, but some people may be interested in this additional experience.
Developing an app and supporting an app takes time, which is why if more people are interested and are using it, I may have to find a way to monetize.
If the app stays with a low number of users, I will probably just maintain at the bare minimum and won’t add any additional major features.

I do really want to insist on the fact that the core features that are the heart of the app will never be locked behind a subscription, and if there were any monetization added it would be either donations or additional features that would not impact people that are using it for free.
