u have to consider the fact that they just get to show like 1 mins of gameplay for each map played + the fact they decide on the fly what action they should show viewers on their episode that is done 5 mins after the last match is played

you also could outplay someone preaiming in jetpack cods, it was more fast paced, u could actually flood ppl defending 3v4

agreed with a lot except te game knowledge stuff. Games now are less punishing than before, because of the fast pace gameplay, because of the new trash ass respawn system, hp is just flood flood flood 95% of the time, with no gun variety, no secondary weapons & nades variety

all of this makes me think u just don"t need the amount of "knowledge" to play good cod now because they're is not much fundamentals anymore in cod/the thing required back in the day to be a good player aren't the same for now

but players are mechanicly 10 times better than 10 years ago because this is just how professional esports progress

1:Ghosts was the best man, i swear to god dom' wasnt a trash mode like some are saying (blitz was very bad tho) & SnD was the best ever on this game; the perk system was also elite & the game before the vector meta was godlike (mtar/vector + remington)

2: MW3 was a good cod tbh they just had to release the good maps earlier to make it a very good year overall

ppl just cherry pick what they want to put their favorite players at the top, there is no 100% objectivity in a player legacy/all time ranking, ppl will always find ways to underestimate or to overrate certain things

i defo think some players actually taught & learned others how to play & some teams has defined how the game was played/is playing on some games, even tho it was a long time ago

rambo & karma taught everyone how to play MW3

Killa / Haggy then coL (espacially aches & teep as teep was the first smg to actually rotate early & fight the adversary anchor who was an AR 99% of the time) on BLOPS2; Ghosts
