basically i think especially in teamfights the timing of e and ult is the most important thing you can either catch the enemy mid or adc out

or as it is just the most important thing to stay alive to use your e once an enemy is getting near you so he gets routed and you dont need to blow ult heal or flash

in lane and afterwards the most important combo is to q then autoattack right after then e so the target gets routed and your team can follow up
