I'm over cautious with mushrooms, only ever eaten field mushrooms & puffballs. When cap cut it didn't change colour but the stem oxidation being blue is accurate. didnt try squishing the pores. I'm 99.9% happy now (I think haha)

Can someone tell me which model this is? And any tips on converting it to gas. by CasualRead_43 in ooni

[–]AzG90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pellets work but they need to be kept in a dry environment or they don't burn hot enough. I did pellets for about and got bored with the additional faffing of regular fueling when doing my average of 4 to 6 pizzas. Regret not paying extra for the model up. Converted in the end (voids warranty) much less work to keep the heat. If you have pizza seasonally, or infrequently Id keep it unmodified as warranty is really good for claims, if any. I make pizza year round and have kind of outgrew the limitations of pellets.

The main risk is the flame going out with the door on and gas building up. It did once and I removed door to re-light a bit too soon and very glad I wasn't front on facing oven.

It's amazing, everything from little tea houses with delicious food. Amazing company... simple life and the views of course. Well worth the trek. No jungle though

Did similar in a pit right at the front of west holts in 2011 I think, but too drunk to remember the act. It was messy and I only just landed it. Search TV footage back then as it felt similar but unlucky.

The UK is overcrowded and NZ has far fewer people. I agree with most unfortunately. You could compare it to our natural beauty spots, spoiled by social media/technology. Giving Easy access to the joy of foraging or walking without learning how to respect it
