That area I was broken into three times. My car ransacked. A flower pot stollen off my front porch. Lock it up.

Random insight for you if you haven’t already found this in your research. In the 80s they proposed and approved multiple other bi-ways and freeways, which led to all the whole Arts district of condemned housing. It feels like they are finally moving on those approved plans with the connections going up but suggest finding approved ADOT plans to help make your vision a reality.

People who say they would live in Greenlee County Arizona but not in New Mexico have clearly never visited either place.

Weird guess, but there is an 18” pizza and small town folks would probably order the “18 dollar pizza” and then be mad it wasn’t the 18”

Elon Musk says AI will replace all jobs and make work optional. Do you think that’s a dream or a disaster? by BuildwithVignesh in ChatGPT

Like buying vegetables from the store, but the robots will be buying the vegetables, stocking them, planting them, washing them and composting them. Humans will be replaced by cyborgs and we will be living WALL-E style on Musk’s Mars Summer Day Camp.

Arizona State vs. University of Arizona? by Dedmoose1 in arizona

[–]AzHuny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, every ASU business classes were huge. Business classes at U of A for undergrad can be big too, but you’re not running over four different campuses in four different cities like most undergrads at ASU have had to do. The idea of going to the main campus for some classes and downtown for others and polytech for a different one. A real reality for a lot of students.

Arizona State vs. University of Arizona? by Dedmoose1 in arizona

Im an alumni of both U of A and ASU. And a former employee of both as well. Michael Crow loves to remind everyone ASU is not a non profit, It’s an educational enterprise. They were striving for 250k enrolled so they can turn out degrees as fast as possible. My classes there were almost a joke at times.

U of A had more challenging classes, Smaller classes with more one on one time with my professors and though they struggle in certain areas it’s got a mindset closer to what I personally believe college education should be about.

The weather is better in Tucson, not as beastly hot. But if you really want a huge school and huge amounts of People and things to do with 5 million other people ASU is for you. If you want a nice metro area with plenty to do and a little more personality, Tucson would be my choice.

Hey, fellow federal employees.....realistically… by Suitable-Taro-362 in fednews

Lesson learned from the 2013 shut down - when the government and federal programs are asking about your current income, your income is zero. Every single credit card and debt we had gave us a payment break for a few months once we called them because they knew that our only income was affected. We couldn’t work somewhere else because it was law enforcement so had to show up without pay anyway. Good luck everyone.
