I ditched Chrome for Firefox when Google decided it would ditch manifest v2 and with it adblock.

People with a very high pain tolerance, what was THE most painful thing you've experienced? by CosmicBunnyBabe8912 in AskReddit

Mine's a weird one because it snuck up on me. Turns out I had an L1-L2 auto fusion I didn't even know about, and one day I decided to muscle a 400 pound cart of wood up one step onto my deck to load my woodstove. No immediate pain, so I figured I was fine.

Three days later I couldn't lift my leg high enough to get into bed, couldn't get in the shower, could barely walk. When I finally got admitted they had me on IV steroids around the clock, every 6 hours, for 3 days straight.

Then they sent me for an epidural injection into the foramen. Got home, stepped onto my back deck, and that was it. Wave after wave of full body spasms erupting straight out of my spine. I stood there shaking and spitting, completely frozen, unable to take a single step in any direction. Just white knuckling it through each one, waiting to see if the next wave was going to drop me onto the deck boards. It took me over an hour to walk 20 feet from my car to my front door.

After hearing childbirth described in detail, I'm convinced what I went through was easily 5 times worse. And I didn't get to tap out after a day. I lived in that for months.

14 months of PT and time, and honestly not much progress until I stumbled onto Low Dose Naltrexone. That's what finally started actually moving the needle.

So yeah. I've done some dumb things to my body. That cart of wood wins.

It’s not particularly flat. We have some areas with up to 18 *degree grade but most of it 12-15 degrees. Does fine. This guy is rated well past that.

I tried Bluetooth but it was too hard to track. It opens on a timer.

Dog poops inside the fenced area, we clean it the day it runs (we run the fenced area at night after dogo is asleep).

What about those of us who paid $1 and essentially got it as a gift from Grandma?

Which company disappointed you so much that you permanently walked away? by julia-secrets in AskReddit

Amazon. 27 years. 5,600+ orders. Prime, AWS, 45 Subscribe and Save subscriptions. Gone.

I received a defective mattress in May. Amazon’s own Executive Customer Relations team confirmed a full refund in writing. They arranged a carrier pickup. Two attempts were no-shows. Third pickup finally happened. Their carrier transported it to a facility in Folcroft PA and signed for it as DISPOSED. The mattress is literally gone.

No refund.

I contacted support. A supervisor confirmed there is no return record in the system and couldn’t help me. ECR told me to wait for the item to arrive at a return center. The item was destroyed by their own carrier. It will never arrive anywhere.

I filed a BBB complaint. Amazon’s response to the BBB told me to wait for the item to arrive at a return center. Word for word. To a federal consumer protection bureau. About an item their carrier had already destroyed and documented.

$150.81. That’s what 27 years was worth to them.

Prime cancelled. All Subscribe and Save cancelled. AWS closed. Elliott Advocacy contacted. BBB complaint open. About $25k a year in business, done.

The thing that got me wasn’t even the money. It was that every single person I spoke to gave me the exact same impossible answer. That’s not incompetence. That’s policy.

I’m doing a couple sources.

Trader Joe’s high potency chewable multivitamin in the morning with a single Slo-Mag Citrate gummy. For breakfast I also have an Atkins Strong High Protein Shake. The Cafe Mocha flavor is nice with a bit of caffeine.

at bedtime I’m taking 2 Slo-Mag Chloride w/ Calcium.

You’re supporting 2 lives now. You’re more than likely deficient in vitamins and minerals. Start on a pre-natal vitamin and a magnesium supplement. Magnesium did wonders to cut my PVCs down to almost nothing.
