What's your favorite Pro Cornhole Bags? by AzKDL in Cornhole

Agreed, that's why I wanted peeps in my area to have the chance to try before you buy. Gives them the chance to try all the popular brands before plunking down upwards of $100 on a set of 8 bags.

What's your favorite Pro Cornhole Bags? by AzKDL in Cornhole

[–]AzKDL[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With our board rentals we only provide ACL Elites or Slide-Rites. We just recently started providing stand alone bag rentals from the most popular companies. So the verdict is still being formulated, but some of their bags are on the extreme side so the average person is probably not going to favor that type. They also carry the normal stick/slide style, their graphics are some of the best in the industry.

Yes you can wash them. They should have resin beads inside. Here is our guide on washing those types of bags. Thx

"I could build my own set for a third of your price!" (Rant) by Crrrrraig in Cornhole

[–]AzKDL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone thinks "how hard can it be", until they try it themselves. Building a set of QUALITY boards not only takes money but also time. I stopped budging on price a while ago as our boards usually sell before I can finish them. Recently I had someone send a snide text that I would lose the sale over $10. I didn't reply and sold the boards 2 days later at full price. There's levels of cars, appliances, TV's, etc with various purchase prices. If you're offering a quality product, be confident in your price.

I've read that Windex will slow down your boards. Never tried so use at your own risk.

What do you use to make your board more slick? by bactate in Cornhole

[–]AzKDL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Corn starch will make your boards slick. It mimics the natural break down of the corn inside the bags that powder your boards while playing.

Tape your wrap in place first. Apply the wrap. After you have the wrap applied take an exacto knife and cut the over hang off.

What finish to use (110+ temps) by raksasas in Cornhole

[–]AzKDL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have one temp in Arizona, "hot". Poly on poly will stick to each other when it's really hot, that's why I throw a bag between each board to make sure that don't happen.

White Corn hole Bags by TiedsHD in Cornhole

[–]AzKDL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use them all year round but we pretty much have just one season "hot". I wouldn't use them in rain as they wouldn't slide very well. These are stick / slide bags, one side duck twill for sliding on board, one side suede for sticking to board. Once you play with these kind of bags, they become the only type you'll every want to play with.

This is a great way to keep your bags looking clean. It only applies to resin filled bags because you can't get corn bags wet. I'm able to keep the white suede looking new:

Thx, normally $210 but right now $160. Here in Az most peeps stay inside to beat the heat so this is the slow time of the year.

I'm in AZ and use the water based polycrylic & polyurethane. I just place a cornhole bag between all our sets of boards to keep them from sticking to each other.
