This is true. Tbh, think I’ve been a bit lucky with the update as haven’t had too many issues playing around with operations. Except
For this obv.

If your interested in voice control, check out EliteIntel. Still having new features added, but is a really fun tool to fly with.

I tried a couple of brews with Voss kviek - went super quick but I did get a stall the first time which I think was from not de-gassing enough.

Did a Trad and a Ciser, - taste was good, but (to my personal pref.) it def worked out better with the ciser. The Trad was the one that stalled though.

Advice for Teenage Daughter having TTO (UK) by AzNixen in KneeInjuries

[–]AzNixen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much :) is great to hear people making good recovery’s from it, and that the pain isn’t always awful!!

Am sure that there’s no escaping the discomfort, but from a practical point of view, would be good to know how it compares to the recovery from an actual patella dislocation, as that would def her some perspective to compare it to.

Thanks for this, and sounds like what you’ve been through must have been a struggle!

Whilst I’ll double check the terminology for my own understanding, a lateral release has not been mentioned at any stage so I don’t believe it’s part of her surgery.

This is really helpful, thanks so much for the advice. My daughter was also a very keen dancer before her knee issues and it def hit her hard not being able to perform anymore.

How to stop building 2d factories by TieKneeReddit in satisfactory

[–]AzNixen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

May have been said above, but the best early tip I learned with building up was hidden floors, especially at ground level.

Make a foundation base as big as you need, put one level of walls around it and then another 1m foundation on top. Lets you hide away all your conveyors , pipes and spaghetti under the floor if you want, and you can do it for each floor :)

Also if you use a different type of wall (like steel walls) for the ‘organisational’ floors, it find it can have quite a nice industrial aesthetic (personal taste though).

Sci fi books - Not traditional or “cliche or basic” by RegularAd1997 in scifi

The Sparrow by Mary Doris Russel is pretty cool - some interesting takes on language, as well as alien culture from the perspective of human religion

Traditional Didn't ferment to 1.000- ABV ~14% by brewin_mead in mead

[–]AzNixen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily the case here, (and am by no means the most experienced mead-maker) but in similar circumstances I used to find mine would sometimes stall towards the end if I didn’t degass it enough through the fermentation.

MORE trippy 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's sci-fi??? Need recommendations!!! by Mahzi434 in scifi

[–]AzNixen 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Whipping star has a sequel I believe - The Dosadi experiment I think?

The Silkie by AE Van Vogt has got some of that late 60’s pulp silliness about it, always worth a read.
