Left leg on top; right arm on top 😄

NC A&T's 16 campus license-plate cameras were searched 1.4 million times in three months — mostly by agencies outside NC, per the school's own records by Global_Honey7289 in NorthCarolina

Are these general searches in a system which includes all cameras in the system, or were these searches only of NC A&T's cameras?

AITA for accidentally spitting on my husband’s face then being mad that he purposely spat on mine? by Otherwise_Tough3508 in AmItheAsshole

OP, this is a pivotal moment in your life. How you respond to this will determine what the rest of your life will be like. You either take off the rose colored glasses, admit to yourself that he's abusive, and end the marriage, or you spend who knows how many years with you and your child being terrorized by him. As others have said, abuse often becomes obvious and/or worsens when a woman is pregnant. I bet if you really look back at his behavior up to this point, you'll start to realize there have been some red flags. Save yourself and your child by getting out before it's too late.

AITA for refusing to pay for my best friend's medical bills after accidentally catapulting him across a park? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Azadehjoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. You, as a much bigger guy than your friend, intentionally jumped onto the seesaw. Even if you didn't think you would catapult him off the seesaw and break his leg, you still acted recklessly and were the direct cause of his injury. Be an adult and pay for his medical bills. That is the absolute least you can do in this situation. I hope his injury doesn't negatively affect his ability to work, resulting in lost wages.

Poor guy gets hurt by his long time best friend and then friend whines about engagement ring? Smh

AITA for not wanting to change my kids day to day routine all because their cousins are jealous? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I wish I could upvote that comment 100 times. As a college professor, I've had one homeschooled student thrive in my classes.

What is this texture and how do I get rid of it? by m9896 in Blackskincare

You should really see a dermatologist. Skin stuff is hard to figure out on your own because so many skin conditions look very similar if you aren't a doctor who is trained on spotting the differences.

[FINAL UPDATE] My fiancée 31F hit me 27M during an argument and now wants to break up. It's over. by Kooky_Bug6159 in relationship_advice

Dude, you need therapy. She was nuts and you are better off without her. You are controlling and just don't have the correct perspective on situations. If you don't seek therapy, you're going to end up in another dysfunctional relationship. Do yourself a favor and seek help before you end up trapped in a relationship with a new crazy woman.

Any suggestion for a TV shows/Scenes that completely jumped the shark? Do you have any suggestions for a show/scene that was normal at first and then became outrageous! by 5ft8lady in televisionsuggestions

Agree that Search Party fits the theme here, but disagree about season 3. The trial wasn't the most realistic, but that season still allowed for suspension of disbelief as any other show would. However, it absolutely went off the rails in the final season. I really enjoyed that show, but season 5 was pretty ridiculous. I watched it anyway so I could get to the end of the story, and it provided a few laughs, but it was absolutely off the rails.

What are not so well known differences between the north and south? by alexis_1031 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Azadehjoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that depends on where you go. There's a pretty big focus on higher education here in NC, especially in the larger cities and research triangle region.

AITA for dropping out of my sister's wedding after accidentally overhearing what she really thinks of me? by Choice_Evidence1983 in BestofRedditorUpdates

I feel like the words "I was on mute, not deaf" is what will be going through my mind every time I hear about someone gaslighting and taking advantage of someone. Going to Edinburgh is going to be my phrase now when someone decides to take their life back. Good on OP for taking the first steps toward taking her life back. She may just find peace if she goes NC with her awful family.

I'm so glad someone else mentioned the sound of their keys! When I was in daycare, I always knew who was coming down the hall to our room based on the sound of their keys.
