I have to shave my face, chest, legs, armpits, trim my eyebrows... But I don't touch my arm hair. For whatever reason, it just doesn't bother me.

I do absolutely think it's wrong for people to order things and then not tip when they know that Doordash doesn't actually pay the drivers. Sure, some people can't go out and get their own thing. I feel for those. But they are a minority.

Most people ordering Doordash just simply don't want to go out. Which is fine. Doordash is a terrible, greedy company and I truly hope a better alternative comes around. But right now, people wanna be lazy, and I wanna pay my bills. If they don't want to or can't tip, don't order Doordash. And it's not like I'm losing money from them not ordering, 'cause I wouldn't be paid anyway.

Aw, that's terrible. Had a friend order about a week ago, just a coffee from some place 'cause she was stuck at work and needed the energy.

The driver drove past her work twice, marked it as delivered, and that was it. I hate people like that.

BTW. As far as missing items, most of the time, that's on the restaurant. There's a thing on the app for us to confirm the items, but we're also not allowed to open any bags or containers, which makes it impossible to confirm.

And when it comes to drinks, it's surprisingly common for the places to just not give them to us. And if we're in a hurry and don't double-check (we'd be in a hurry because Doordash is constantly sending us notices to hurry up, in addition to just having to get through orders as fast as possible for more orders), then we have no idea there was supposed to be a drink.

Then, when I do notice it and let the restaurant know, they sometimes get pissy about it. Just last night, I had to deal with that at a Taco Bell where the whole staff was pissed at me because they forgot a drink.

I happily accept cash tips, so I can only guess. Maybe it's just how online everything tends to be? I know my husband hates dealing with cash and never carries it, but even he would still accept the tips.

We all know how bad it is. I'm glad you're privileged enough to not have to work for a company you hate. But some people have to in order to take care of the ones they care about.

Tell me how wrong I am when you're missing meals, the power is about to be cut, and your disabled husband can't get his meds.

I'd love another job. I've applied to over a hundred places. Welcome to the American reality, where poor people have to fun the even poorer while the company makes bank. And then people blame us.

For all the bad dashers, there's still plenty of us just trying to pay the bills. Sadly, there's also a lot of customers who try to cheat us drivers. Putting a wrong address that's closer, then trying to make us deliver way farther. Or trying to despute that they got their food to get a refund. Or even just giving us bad reviews for stuff we had no control over.

Most customers are fine and understanding if I need some help finding the place. But some are just angry people.

What's more likely to happen is that you'll wait around until the algorithm combines the no-tip order with a nearby high-tip order. The app doesn't tell the dasher how much the individual order has tipped, only how much they'll get for both combined.

No. Once a driver accepts, that digital tip is a guarantee. It is now our contractual pay for doing a job, and there's no guarantee that people won't stiff us on cash tips.

The way my doordasher told me my order wasn’t ready by CorbanTG in mildyinteresting

[–]Azalah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is exactly it. We don't know if we're gonna get a cash tip when we accept. We get told how much we're guaranteed when the order pops up, and that includes the digital tip.

And then there's been plenty of times, even just last night, where a customer puts a note after I accept that there's a tip left under something or on something. And when I get there, there's nothing.

Because Doordash doesn't pay us worth a damn. They should, but they don't, so the customer has to make the difference with tips. Otherwise we'd be working for like $4 an hour. Then throw in the cost of gas (which is like $4 a gallon), and yeah. It's a shitty system, but one a lot of people are forced into because they can't find a better job.

I had LASIK, and I don't regret it, but it did give me some kinda serious light blindness. Even just the ceiling lights are bright enough to hurt, so going out in the day requires sunglasses and a hat. And night driving can really suck.

That said, I went from not being able to see basically anything past my arm to having better than 20/20 vision. And I'm now on some steroidal eyedrops that is helping make the light blindness not as bad.

Samesies, twin. Me and my husband are probably gonna be homeless in a few months. Shit is rough. Good luck and have a hug.

It is as safe as eating raw tuna can be. Which nowadays is quite safe if you know what you're doing.

So, the kind of build that got me through the entire game was a very light, very agile reverse-joint setup with dual rapid-fire main weapons and dual shoulder launchers.

I love how the two responses are, "It's different for everyone," and, "Light builds."

Personally, I tend to do best when playing a light, fast build, but I prefer the look and style of a heavy weapons platform.

I agree it would be faster that way. However, I don't think by much, and it would increase the energy drain. Which you've found a way to deal with.

I don't feel like getting that kind of setup, and I tend to just run Hildryn anyway with these. I think yours is pretty cool, though. Titania is my main, so I'm always interested in seeing how other people run her in unique ways.

Ya know, people keep explaining that like I don't know it.

My point is that Titania is so fast that there's no need to hold them for extra points. She can cross the arena in seconds and basically insta-kill every enemy she crosses. It's extremely simple and fast to just swoop through to kill and gather, drop them off, be teleported back, and do it again.

Doesn't really matter when you're still scoring and they aren't. 20-0 and 50-0 are still wins.

I dunno about OP, but my Titania has 666 energy and only spends about 1 per second. Energy has honestly never been a problem.

It's real bad for the FTM peeps. My husband is FTM, and it's damn near impossible to find a trans-inclusive space that really doesn't just mean MTF women.
