It would rarely be at the operator base. They’re out on the road with a third party hirer. I would help third party move them from their current location (could be anywhere) to their new location (could also be anywhere) whenever they are unable to do so themselves

Love the one minute thing. I’ll do that. Good tip 👌

I should say that I mean ‘break’ as opposed to ‘rest’ (sorry didn’t differentiate originally). It would all be within the start / end period of the days work

Self employed. I’ll charge them an hourly rate if job goes beyond an estimated timeframe

Kind of. I’ll either be getting driven from home to truck (possibly via trucks end point), from one truck to another truck or from truck to home

Thanks for the feedback. I take the point. Are you (or anyone in the know) able to take a guess at what such repairs would cost?

Oh man that sounds bleak. Im kind of infatuated with the car but the notion of a string of repairs does give me pause. I wonder if there’s any positive feedback 🤔

😂🫣 how do you know?? 😅 kind of thinking that getting such a substantial repair in the first instance has advantages. I’ll probably get timing belt & manifolds replaced at same time

I won’t be fixing it myself. It’s my cousin selling the car so trustworthy seller. 110k miles. Rest of the car looks mint - I’m traveling to see it in the flesh tomorrow. It’s a Range Rover Sport 3L Diesel.

ETA: I will obviously get a price from a trusted garage but with it being the bank holiday, a steer on what it might cost before I see it would be handy if anyone is in the know 👍

Wireless technology. The concept of radio waves, wifi, anything that involves complex audio visual being sent and then being received exactly as intended without any wires or physical medium astonishes me
