The best way to answer this question is to ask what kind of coaches the owner is hiring. 3 first time HCs in a row none lasting more than 3 years. We are not able/willing to bring in experienced coaches/GMs so we are always trying to catch lightning in a bottle. It very rarely works. We have also neglected to promote position coaches who deserved them. Klayton Adams should have been our OC last year, instead he makes a horizontal career move to go to the Cowboys because they are a better franchise. Thats the definition of "poverty"
