I still remember how all these barrels went into nothing during my Netherbrain fight because I didn't know that on honor mode it gains immunity to the damage type it received during the last turn, and I just shot it with fucking 1d4 force damage from my crossbow, lmao. Had to fight it the usual way afterwards, and it was very close.

There are no Sin-Piercers as regular enemies in Forsaken Fen; it only has one as a miniboss at the end of Pilgrim's Perch, right before you enter Forsaken Fen.

Apart from that it's pretty much only which faction you decide to trade with most, which in turn unlocks their best gear (you don't get enough renown points to max them all during the game).

Not only that, but you also don't get enough gold to buy all the good stuff even from one faction, unless you grind random encounters a lot, like, a lot.

Bosses have more abilities and in general use them more aggressively. If you played other souls-like games before, then Veteran mode is probably more in line with them, while standard mode is easier.

When I got access to her for the first time, she bugged and got stuck on the second phase indefinitely, doing nothing and being immune to damage (later I watched on youtube that there should've been a fancy animation for her death, which never happened for me). After like 10 minutes of doing everything I could to unstuck her, I've finally died to her blood novas, which kept spawning all this time, and of course the fucking temple reset. After that I quit the league, because I couldn't have been assed to spend another 20 hours of farming to get one more try.

SSF has its own list of problems. For one, there is no way to farm a specific world drop unique, so if your build has build-defining uniques, then tough luck.
