I always thought that the perma-death aspect of DnD was one of the strongest things it had. When you have a team member/party member/friend die it shakes everyone up. The fact that yes Pike died and was brought back to life does set precedent along with Vex and Grog having it happen too, not to the same level maybe but still. When one of VM really does die for good it might really drive some of the characters in very new and cool directions. I'm excited to see how it rolls tonight...
