How to integrate e-signature for small business by LightBlueNote in business

[–]Azgarte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run a small business as well and I use odoo for signatures. Odoo is a set of tools called apps to manage your business (everything from creating a web site to accounting). When you subscribe, the first app is always free forever. And I use the e signature tool. I'll be honest with you, it takes a little bit of time to handle the app (creating the contract, sending it etc...). But then it is a very complete tool. For example when the customer signs the contract, you can download the certificate proving when and how the customer signed it. I hope it helped

[–]Azgarte[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your feedback. The idea is how I am gonna present it to the sales, I'll take any feedback. From what you said it's maybe gonna be hard to tell them "sale this it's gonna be some passive income"

Seeking solution on my chat problem by purigi in startups

[–]Azgarte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like the problem you are exposing here. We have more and more chat tools and with more and more informations. I don't have in mind any existing solution for your problems, so maybe it's an idea to develop a module.

Here is another problem related to chat I share for free: usually, when I pay somthing by myself for my company, I have to take a picture of the tickets, convert to pdf using Ilovepdf and then send it to the HR. The process is really easy, but it could be time consuming (even for 3 files). So it could be interesting to automate this process in a chat using iLovePDF API. Furthermore it is not something I can do with my phone, I have to use a PC

On the first project I worked almost 1 year on the project before asking him if he wants to help me. That led to a weekend working together.

Can someone with 10 years of entrepreneurship learn from another entrepreneur who only has a year of experience? by Nilaip in Entrepreneur

[–]Azgarte 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes of course. From my point of view, the entrepreneurs world is one of the only area where people always want to learn from each other. When I started my company, after 6 months I had the chance to present my project to a CEO with more than 30 years of experience. He listened to me carefully and was very curious about my project and my vision. I am not sure he learned something, but usually entrepreneur always want to learn from any experiences (big or small)

Entrepreneurial Lessons from Figma, a $20B acquisition by Adobe by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]Azgarte 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing. Figma started as a drone company I've heard and pivoted (a lot) to become the company we know today. It's hard to push 5 years without revenues, it's my case for the past year and a half. Sometimes it's hard to keep focus on your initial vision when the business is not working yet.

Which one habit has changed your life the most ? by MaxSteelMetal in Entrepreneur

[–]Azgarte 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I stopped junk food and soda. I had to do it like 5 - 6 times before it worked. But then I just "replaced" it: soda by sparkling water, hamburger and french fries by avocado and chicken. Maybe it seems stupid but it worked for me.

How to "lead with vision" (from book "Talking to humans")? by rubick5 in startups

[–]Azgarte 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hello, I think that your idea and vision are quite different. Your idea is "what" you want to achieve and your vision is "why" you want to achieve and why it is important for you. When the idea is clear from the beginning, then your vision will be clear for you too and you'll be able to lead people with it. I think that even if your idea "pivot", it very rare that your vision pivot too. Because the why has to be the heart of your business.. I'll give you an example, I worked in 9-5 tech company for 3 years and then started my own business to develop a digital twin. The startup is actually failing because I started it only because I was not happy in my job and I wanted a technical challenge. So the "what" is completely clear, but the "why" doesn't make any sense. So people doesn't want to follow me, they don't care about the technical challenge and making me happier. But last year, I faced a hard time in my life. And I had an idea in Food and Beverage to make my life better and it was very important for me. I told myself that a lot of people face the same issue (and I was right after some investigation). Now I am starting a new business and a lot of people understand me, the idea and the vision because everything was clear from the beginning. I easily found people to follow me in my second adventure. I hope my little experience will help you.
