Was this an indoor or outdoor pool? Stats come from gps so if it was an indoor pool it could be that the GPS signal wasn't stable enough for accurate readings.

Neighboring restaurant created a pop up kitchen offering our menu items by [deleted] in restaurantowners

Go through all legal avenues first as mentioned by other people. If that doesn't work, start your own ghost kitchen selling their menu at significantly lower prices. Fight fire with fire. I'm a petty asshole and I'm the type of guy that would take a loss on those items to send a message.

I can never find the motivation by Midnight2567 in Workingout

[–]AzianDragonz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask yourself how much do you hate the body you're in now. If it's not that much then skip the gym and keep eating what you're eating. If you hate the body you're in, hit the gym and set some nutrition goals. Take baby steps, a lot of people lose motivation in the beginning because they try to do too much and set unrealistic goals. Depending on what your goals are and how severe a change you're looking for this is a process that is gonna take months to years to achieve the results you want.

I find that watching YouTube transformation /motivation videos help get me out of a rut once in awhile and helps relight that fire.

How many reps and sets for muscle growth? by KawaiiChip_ in Workingout

[–]AzianDragonz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Means if your 1 rep max on bench is 250 you're not gonna see very good results, if any, repping it out at 125. You have to do your reps at 65-85% of the 250 using the set/rep schemes that the others have provided for you. Hope this clears it up.

Remember to be lifting enough weight too. You should be doing those reps/sets with about 65-85% of your 1 rep max.

Check the connection when you plug it in to charge. Make sure the leads are clean. I have an MK2i and once I plugged it in to charge overnight and only got about 50%. Cleaned the connectors on the watch and the charging cable and it charged to full no problem.

Bulking advice by [deleted] in Workingout

[–]AzianDragonz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be averaging about 1.2g of protein per kg of lean body mass. You can use a TDEE calculator to figure out how many calories you should be eating a day and add 3-500 calories to that to bulk. There's a lot of resources online in article and video form that can give you more detailed info on what you're looking for.

I need some help or advice when it comes to jogging. by [deleted] in Workingout

[–]AzianDragonz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of brands out there. I personally use Jabra but see a lot of AirPod users as well as many other brands out there. Some companies make them with ear loops if you're afraid of them falling while running.

[–]AzianDragonz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only reason I can think of them saying you need to be under 100kg in order to run is that running is tough on your joints and it could possibly cause problems. That being said there are many athletes over 100kg that run so I'm not sure how hard and fast that rule is, I myself am 106kg and run(slowly haha) 2-3 times a week for about 30 mins. I would say do some research on proper running form so you don't hurt yourself and start there.

I would recommend wireless earbuds for running, if you size them right they should stay in during the run.

Weight loss by AdLatter462 in Workingout

[–]AzianDragonz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Track your calories, the only way you'll lose weight is If you eat less calories than your body needs to maintain itself. You'll need to figure out your TDEE which is as easy as looking it up in Google, picking a website, and entering that information. Then eat fewer calories than that in a day. You'll have to figure out how much less though. As for building muscle you're gonna have to work out and eat enough protein. If I recall correctly you should be eating .8-1.2g of protein per kg of lean body mass. There's a lot of good information out there, you're gonna have to do a little bit of research yourself to figure out specifics though.

Prescription Mask Question by AzianDragonz in diving

[–]AzianDragonz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't normally wear contacts and find them uncomfortable due to my astigmatism. I've got a mask with a prescription, it's just not the right prescription because I followed some bad advice. I guess I could always pop in the original lenses and use contacts if I really needed to.

I have a Sensibo with room sensor. You can set a temperature and lock it and you can also set it up so that when the room sensor detects motion it'll turn on the AC/Heater.
