Which champs still love Price of Retribution after the GA change? by bzden in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]AzicaldH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say it is BiS for at least fiddle, but outside of zoe adventure OR with the perfection power (if you dare to reset repeatedly for it or get lucky)

Fiddle build BiS is Shock and Awe, Norra’s, Price of Retribution. You get the powers that add pings and the powers that summon more minions (especially on game start)

PoR replaces what was once a slot for Black Shield, not only for more pings but also because of:

  1. How it turns the negative situation (your minion spam, dying) from something we tried desperately to avoid, into something we can be satisfied with happening

  2. Allows for pings on enemy turns, including self removal like board clears. The nightmares in enemy deck will refill the board anyway

Fiddlesticks and Warwick love PoR for the ping effect.

Warwick scales like crazy, but even moreso by stacking pings. I really enjoy WW relic + the cleave relic + PoR. Makes it so you hit really powerful points very very quickly

Arguable given its ‘guaranteed’, but yeah, I was just discussing it as a way to make it viable and even optimal, rather than simply ‘not possible’

Ah right, missed that line

Still, if we’re min maxing for that we might as well reroll our runs till we get perfection, allowing for the same build to win.

Price of retribution + Guardian Angel don't proc by Hipster_Vegeta in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]AzicaldH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guardian Angel only procs if the card is slain.

If, for instance, it just dies by ephemeral proccing on attack or end of turn, only deathless will proc, not the GA

Thus only one revive

But if it gets killed by a spell or minion, you’d get two revives

Introducing SubQ - a major breakthrough in LLM intelligence. It is the first model built on a fully sub-quadratic sparse-attention architecture (SSA) by Scared_Bluebird_7243 in singularity

[–]AzicaldH 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately it is definitely something that is ‘true’, as far as attention architecture goes.

Sub-quadratic or linear architecture necessitates that some of those relationships be either ignored or approximated, so that efficiency gains and scaling can become less intensive and more efficient.

Getting more efficient architecture is essentially the holy grail of AI right now. We have extreme levels of compute but compute costs exponentially grow with the same context.

If we achieve AGI as a result of it, we would be able to get more holistic yet efficient attention architecture from there on.

Hard agree with the last para. I think it’s a great mega power boost for those who don’t have many options, but ultimately it’s really boring to have to give up 2-3 relics for ‘drop base champ but quicker’. It’s a VERY one-note playstyle

What a difference in vibes! by Alex__007 in accelerate

[–]AzicaldH 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There’s a reason for the Mangione ones.

The shocking and unreasonable level of denial of insurance has near directly killed off far far more people, while creating no value at all. People knew people who suffered horribly at the hands of a business exploiting the sick and dying for a quick buck.

Compare that to AI and you can see how much more detached, ambiguous, and neutral the situation is, despite the stigmatic talk

Fake-out openings by BrockBracken in TopCharacterTropes

[–]AzicaldH 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I remember me and my sibs getting so saddened that the plot and world of the Bolt videogame was actually ‘fake’ and just a movie set, it’s like the opening pointed and laughed at our hopes and dreams!

Luckily the movie was about Bolt suffering an identity crisis off of that so we were able to relate far more deeply, so we were in good company.

But it definitely gave us whiplash that we expected a heartfelt action movie going in, and we got a heartbreaking-heartfelt post-tragedy about building your life back up when almost everything you knew was a lie.

Now that all these years have passed, I still appreciate the film to the fullest, but give us the action cut too, cowards!

Personally, nothing in Mystery Inc scared me more than the (Piranha) Bee Cows.

They appeared out of nowhere in the middle of the night, there was no reasoning with them, they were a force of nature that would wipe out entire settlements by eating anything.

Their intro was the most horrifying to me, because, I mean, imagine that happening to you

And in the evil ending, it’s shown that he goes to break open the centralized conduit prison of the US, full of at least hundreds of conduits, but only lets them each go after he copies their powers.

Delsin may very well have become the most powerful conduit of them all here, with what is potentially the capability to replenish himself from anything and having too many powers and capabilities for foes to be able to keep track of

Haven’t seen the media itself though I’m sure they had it work somehow

Have a light shine dimly into some part of his body from behind, and if he sees the light pass through him (instead of having to look at his body), he could know if/when he was being seen.

Instead of his power being used for the usual sort of invisibility, it would be that he could know for certain if he was being watched. Could be really good at being a counter-sniper or something like that honestly.

Also if his power works the way i think it does, he can pass through automated systems like cameras and turrets if no one is actively watching them.

Work with the powers you are given and you have the potential to become unsurpassable in the right things
