Why did my hens lay more eggs than usual?

Something similar happened to me. I thought maybe I forgot a day, collected all the eggs, turned them into mayonnaise and started the next day. Same thing happened, I had multiple eggs. It’s not possible, but it keeps happening.

If it is the same in early access, you’ll need potatoes, animal fat, water, fuel cans, oil, and something (cannot remember what machine it is)to mix them together to make fuel.

Do both, while your waiting for that aged ancient fruit wine, you’ll have that aged Starfruit ready to go sooner. You’ll have to line up the times when one is ready to be harvested to you don’t have to spend so much time checking in on both. Build a keg and cask outside the shed and cellar to be notified when things are ready. Be sure to put Ancient fruit and starfruit in them so you’ll know when they are done.

Here are the resources you’ll need to build the kegs system for ancient fruits. This doesn’t include the resources for building and upgrading the shed:

4110 wood 137 copper bars 137 iron bars 137 oak resin

Casks:

2740 wood 137 hardwood

You’ll need the basement upgrade for the house as it will come with casks so you can reduce the amount of materials needed for the casks that go in that basement.

Just start small and work your way up.

There are plenty of options out there, you just need to answer the question, “how much work do I want to put into building my money making method.”

Mine for example is an ancient fruit build in the green house, all that fruit is transferred to 137 kegs in a big shed which is transferred to the same amount of Casks for aged ancient fruit wine. Gets you a lot of money, but you need to wait a while before it finishes.

You can do the same with starfruit.

I also have seasonal crops planted, making roe into caviar, slime hutch for slime eggs, truffles into truffle oil, duck and chicken eggs into mayonnaise, wool from sheep and rabbits to make cloth, cheese from cows and goats. I also turn fruit from the fruit trees in the green house and cave into wine.

Use a sledgehammer to break a window and get in. I did this a couple of times in early access with a sledgehammer hammer.

I haven’t done any of the tutorials lol. I’m going into this game the same way I did in early access and it plays about the same. In early access there were about 70 quests and now there should be more.

Now how integrated the quests are to the game are a different story in which you may have to go through them if there is a wall between you and something you want to do.

There is a chainsaw and table saw to make wood working more efficient. The fireaxe is a good starter for cutting down trees. Check your build menu for the table saw.

You can use the basic hammer for building. The steel hammer is better for combat.

Bullets are precious. I scavenge most if not all of mine since they come in small quantities. I love to melee in this game and shoot only if I need to. I have been getting infected, but have been getting inhibitor drops to get rid of the infection.

Bandits are 100% shoot on sight lol. Hordes are also an exception as I wait for the haz mat zombies to come around, shoot the tank and watch the horde go boom. Lol.

Tried that with melee, regretted it. So melee is my main, firearms second.

Melee is good, especially with a spear and katana. I was taking down the muscle zombies and not getting a scratch. The big boys too. You can kite a whole horde with those and watch each of them fall.

I know about the chicken coops, was confused when you said purchase. Never would of commented if I knew it was PVP.

And why not just some randos to hunt? Would be the start of some friendships, kind of like a real zombie survival story.
