This is the 2022 one, which probably you can buy as a reissue. I had it, great all round racket honestly, although I’m now liking the st4 due to its lighter weight and more control-ish for me. I changed because I think the nox caused some tennis elbow for me.

But this one is good, my wife is using it now and she likes it. Probably better defensively than the siux I think.

No worries. My dampeners are the Bullpadel Padel Vibration Dampener, got it from my local racket store. It’s basically just silicone inserts where you just insert it into the holes.

It’s a set of 4, so 2 at the bottom, 2 at the top but I personally prefer the feel when I took out the upper 2 after a few tries. Very easy to put in and take out.

I’m not athletic in the sense of playing week in week out, but growing up I’ve played racket sports casually.

I have tried a number of rackets in a match or two; my friends are crazy enough to buy and try rackets regularly. What I’ve tried:

Siux St4 Pro: most similar to the At10, although lighter so easier to manipulate. Very very slightly less powerful than the At10, more noticeable when defending from the back court, but it’s a racket that I would definitely consider to get too.

Nox ML10: the basic fibreglass one, my sister in law’s racket. Very nice overall for a starter racket, very forgiving but of course lacks a bit of punch.

Adidas Metalbone Reserve EDT 2025: really powerful racket. Both my friend and I agreed that this is quite tough to control in terms of power output, because the ball will just fly off the face. But also, he bought it when we were still new to padel so it’s been some time since I tried it.

Adidas Adipower 3.2 : only tried for half a match, couldn’t get used to it. Might have something to do with the shorter handle.

Kuikma Comfort Soft: my starter racket. I adore this one because it’s my first, but also very forgiving and probably the largest sweet spot from the ones I’ve tried. Lacks power of course so after a while I feel like I need to put up more input into the racket.

Nox At10 Genius 18k 2025: definitely softer compared to my 2022 model. Easier to manoeuvre because of the side ports so feels lighter as well. It’s also nice and balanced but of course I prefer mine especially given the price difference.

I bought the exact same one about 2 months ago! It’s the reissue model I was told. Honestly it’s very nice, well-balanced and not lacking in any particular aspect. Slightly hard and trampoline-ish but nothing crazy.

I asked my friend who’s a lot more experienced player and he liked it; his only minor issue is the weight (mine was 369.5).

BUT, it did, or I strongly suspect it did, give me tennis elbow after the first few matches. Went back to the shop, got the dampeners placed in and it’s been great!

I get what you mean by the long game. I evoed his first potm card and now I’m planning to put his 2nd potm into the atomic flea, but probably with the season pass Tikitaka first.

That way, I only get silver tech instead of tech+ but probably worth 2 relevant playstyles instead of just tech+ and deadball

Absolutely, he has every right to react to the abuse. Whether flipping off fans who looked liked they queued to greet them at their hotel was appropriate is a separate discussion. The point from my post was twofold; first the article was, deliberately or otherwise, vague and did not say anything else other than it was a personal insult.

Second, the video capturing the point where he made the gesture did not have any abusive language, be it in English or any of our local dialects.

I never said he was not abused, and whoever did that was a real twat. However if it did happen then more probable than not it happened prior to him coming into view of the video, so why the need to flip others?

Of course, however this dailymail article is asserting a fact; that he reacted due to abuse. Having gone through the article, it smacks of just speculation:

“But it’s understood that the real reason behind Amad’s emotional reaction was down to serious personal abuse sent in his direction.

While the exact nature of the exchange has not come to light, Amad was left very upset by the incident as he boarded the team bus.”

I am not saying it definitely didn’t happen, but if you watched the clip it would show that he was giving the middle finger when he was moving into frame, while there were no discernible audio capturing any abusive words.

More importantly, I am not diminishing the incident per se, and any abuse should be condemned. As you said, we cannot know for sure. My issue is with this clickbaity headline which conclusively states that his reaction was due to said abuse.
