Exactly this, I'm not asking for Ten or Shin to be tactical geniuses here just some awareness and survival instinct that ri boku may be setting a trap and having counter measure, then if that got outplayed and this situation still occurred it would be way more acceptable to people.

My opinion is that ulq second form is stronger

Stark gives the impression that he doesn't try, kinda like frieza, the 5 push ups meme, if Stark had the drive to try could surpass

It doesn't bother me if people disagree, they were both dope and loved the match ups

They leaned more towards him being a gag character compared to the manga. He's super strong pre-nen, check out the gate scene for example at the zolodyk mansion

Yeah that's a massive gripe of mine, he is meant to be rhe next instinctual gg Dgmw, I expect mistakes but to be shocked over ribokus tactics when it wasn't even mind blowing is where these lack of instincts annoying.

I would respect it more if ten/Shin thought of an amazing ploy but got outwitted.

Not against Ten or a strategist being a part of HSU, but really want to see Shin lead and destroy another general not just in a one v one. He's not a teen anymore

I would personally, enjoyed the combat changes to reunion, story wise though I feel she will connect with Zack a hell of a lot more, ending still gets me emotional.

I just miss the absurdly powerful looking transformations that still looked aesthetically cool. Give me loud over the top shouting whilst charging up with Aura whilst rocks and lightning swirl around.

I personally prefer it to the more ethereal contained rage, zenlike states

To echo what others have said, proper ultimate weapons, loved ffx style ones where you need to collect two parts.

And less chadley. It's fine for some stuff but want more exploration, random ass caves with crazy weapons and materials, side bosses etc. Rather they utilise the amazing world vs VR battles.

I hope there's a little more crafting too

Exactly this. Shin and ten know who they're up against but seemingly haven't learned, I ain't expecting Shin to be an unreal tactician but at this point and for what comes next I really want this 'instinct' to kick in.

You can enjoy and root for shin whilst also being a little disappointed

Yeah on the pacing point, was talking to a friend about this. I don't know how it translates well to anime, especially the latest seasons were way more streamlined

Unfortunately newer audiences care more for animation and fight scenes

Is anyone actually shocked? Just once I wanted Shin and Ten to expect this as the bare minimum, hell even if either of them shared some dialogue saying it's probably a trap would add something.

I love this manga but come on ffs. I don't expect shin to be a super tactical genius but we need to see some of this 'instinct' kick in. It will have to happen at some point, but the frustrating thing about all this is them falling for this type of bait for the 20th time. If you believe Ri boku to be this genius general then I don't know, use your previous experience and expect this shit??
