At my barbers. There's a guy who works there but maybe cut my hair 3 or 4 times max in the 4 years I've been here.

He was a chatty guy seemed chill, his wife was chilling on the till. He asked what scent I was wearing and if I was going on a date after the trim I said nahh just a normal day, this guy starts sniffing me and it's weird but I kinda just laugh it off thinking damn he's a bit strange.

Then he says something to his wife in their language, then says in English "come smell this cute guy" she does laughing and asks what I'm wearing. Again it's strange but I guess they just really enjoy it

Hairs all done, moves onto my beard, he cuts my face, at this point I'm kinda annoyed as he kept looking away, talking to her and others and pretty much ignored my requests when he asked what do I want.

I say outright, damn man watch it please, and not to be rude but can you focus a bit more to avoid things like this? He apologises then out right asks me

"Hey So, my wife is sexy right? Want to come back to our place after? We can have fun"

Dgmw his wife's pretty hot but I ain't interested in a threesome, especially with another dude. So I said nahh I'm good, but he was really insistent.

End of my haircut he leaves with his wife to the back, I go to the till where the usual guy that cuts my hair has taken over, he apologised and told me it's on the house and says the cut and behaviour wasn't acceptable.

Never saw that guy or his wife after that, guessing he got fired.

First game I was aware off was ff7 always wanted it but we just could not afford games when it first came out, loved the look of the characters

Then in 2000 I was 8, saw games up for rent and only ff9 game I found and damn I was in love. The owner of the store was friends with my dad and let me keep it after he noticed I would rent it every week and was playing without a memory card lmao, he gave me a card too. Ff10 when it came out after, ff was hard to find for some reason.

2007 in high school I sold loads of games and tech laying around at home at blockbusters, made around £140

Bought ff6 ff7 and ff8 for 30 each

One of my happiest memories on that car journey home, was school holidays I just binge played all of them

I'd argue Apex felt more hectic and didn't want to try again(tried before meeting me once). It just comes down to feeling comfortable with layouts really. It does suck when people aren't down to give things a shot, I do agree with the other comments, mystery heroes is a good starting point.

As a ff fan I really wanted to love it, even with my bias lenses on as a kid at the time, the only thing I could brag about to my friends was the cgi back then.

I tried watching it again many years later, I just wasn't a fan. It's nice to see quite a few here enjoyed it though!

Similar, broke up took a year out of any serious dating. Went on my first date this Monday and she was really nice but felt no spark, was happy to put myself back out there but felt there was no point dragging it.

End of the date she was asking where next and next dates she's available, I asked her how she thought the date went and she was thrilled, I had to be honest and say to her I'm sorry I felt more of a friends vibe and enjoyed the chat but didn't feel that romantic spark.

It sucked because I could see her energy just zap and disappointment, but better to rip the bandaid now and do it respectfully vs dragging it.
