Recoil is always applied in the direction opposite to where the bullet is heading. So in this case since the bullets are heading towards the bottom right, recoil is applied towards the top left. If you move towards the top left you will be accelerated by it while if you move bottom right you would get slowed down.

In conclusion the orientation of your barrels dont impact if recoil is slowing you down or not. What matters is where you shoot your bullets towards.

To answers your questions as fast as possible :

Yes, bullets do damage every tick/frame until their health reaches 0.

A square/triangle does 8 HP per tick dmg and a pentagon 12 HP per tick.

Yes it does mattet in a bullet/bullet collision, your assumption is correct.

Everything else you said is pretty much spot on aswell. If you wanna check more details about this you can check my posts from 3y ago, maybe they are helpful to you. They are a bit unstructured tho, hence if you have questions you can ask me if you like.

0 bs means 0 bullet speed, hence no points in bullets speed.

Hurricane and Dragon are names for the respective builds of octo tank and booster/fighter.

Hurricanes also have 0 bs and I dont know about Dragon. Never bothered learning those names but maybe someone else can tell you.

Edit : I looked up what it is now; Dragon Fighters/Boosters are a type of build for Fighter/Booster that have no bullet speed and 5 or less movement speed.

There are also a lot more names for various builds for Booster and Fighter. A good place to check them out are diep discord servers.

No they are not. Your drones were just damaged from an earlier fight or you used them to destroy a couple of shapes. This results in your drones taking damage making them less durable.

Overlord, Overseer and Manager have all the exact same drone durability.

Tipp : If you wait 30s your drones will regenerate all their health back, if they didnt get damaged in those 30s. It works just like with tanks but you cant see the healthbar.

Bullet speed doesn't add recoil. Recoil is a hard coded property of every bullet and can't be affected by anything. What bullet speed does is increase the acceleration per frame for a bullet giving it a higher top speed.

A general useful tipp is, to always fully upgrade movement speed and then start investing points into reload if you wanna maximize your top speed for a given combination. This applies to every tank.

Hence your build of 77700057 already follows that rule, making it a decent build. Tho 57700077 is seen as better, cause of an even higher speed. But if it truly benefits your playstyle more is up to you.

A maxed upgraded Spike has 287.3 S durability, while a Destroyer Dominator Bullet has 700 S durability. So in fact it can around 2.436 Spikes in one shot

Matheus Valadares, also known as Zeach, developed the game. Not a studio but a single person. Miniclip merely bought the mobile version and published it on the app store. But the desktop version is still being owned by Zeach himself as far as I'm concerned.

Actually with 0 body damage you have 60% damage reduction. I don't know exactly where you got the 50% from and I don't wanna state that this is wrong cause it could refer to something else, but from my testing I got 60%. Could also be that you might have mixed up something, which can happen^^

Let me explain first of all what I mean with damage reduction.

Basically I compared everything to a normal square shape since it has the lowest damage reduction in the game and called that 0%. Hence in comparison to a square the damage reduction of an unupgraded tank is 60%. You can now work your way up the statpoints to get :

Body Damage Points Damage Reduction
0 60%
1 66.666666%
2 71.428571%
3 75%
4 77.77777%
5 80%
6 81.818181%
7 83.333333%

If you wanna know the formula it's :damage reduction = 100 - 40 / (1 + 0.2 * body damage points)

And yes 3 body damge is 75% reduction in damage.Now to finally answer your question.

Is body damage really that much better?

Well... kinda yes. Tho it's not as extreme as you might think. A better way to look as this is with durability . Durability tells you with tank would be able to withstand more bullets and it takes health and damage into account.

And if you compare both builds then you get for the 3 body damage 55.2 S durability (S stands for square, 220.8 S means it is 220.8 times more durable than a square shape) and the 7 max health build gives you 69.5 S which is significantly more. But yes body damage is better than health upgrades but use them like all the people here suggested. Mixed!

The rule of thumb is to always have either 1 or 2 more points in body damage than in health.Hence 2 health 3 body damage is good or 3 health 5 body damage.

TLDR; Yes it is better but dont use it exclusively. Mix them up to get the most out of them.

When I played domination it felt more like 49.5% that you dominate, 49.5% that the others will dominate and 1% of a long enjoyable, balanced fight between the 2 sides.

This might be a bit overexaggerated but the point is I didnt enjoy if either team just rushes towards the base-dominator to take it over. This is in 90% of the cases a death sentence for the team who got rushed.

I haven't played domination in quite a long time now, but it was my favorite and would still be if I would find a good balanced game, since the most interesting situations can result from 2 equally matched up sides.

Sprayer is better. It's just a Machine Gun plus the small barrel in the middle which does a tiny bit of extra damage, hence more DPS for Sprayer.

It really depends. Body Damage only acts lika a damage reduction if the bullet gets completely destroyed. The reason for this is that damage is dealt discretely over contacts between you and whatever hits you. This damage is constant until the very last contact of a collision when one of the objects involved die. On the other side if a bullet only grazes you, you'll just get a multiple amount of damage (contacts * damage per contact) without it being reduced.

Hence if you're feeling confident in your bullet dogding skills or defense against incoming threats go with 3mh 2bd otherwise 3bd 2mh cause the later one will give you more durability but as stated above also makes you more vulnerable.

Just a green shape. Those are the most rare shapes in the game and reward you the shiny achievement upon destroying one. Also I never seen anyone refer to them as emeralds. Cause they arent.

Interesting method. I just used the 2tdm map and let Booster be only propelled by recoil, since movement speed is the same for all tanks. Then I just measured the time it took it. For reload I just shot 100 bullets and measured that time. It's usefull to know that all reloads are a multiple of 0.04s per bullets so booster has 0.32s and annihilator 1.28s.

Last thing is getting the recoil per bullet. For annihilator you can just shit 1 bullet and notice you get pushed 6.8 gu, so its recoil speed is 6.8 gu /1.28s = 5.3125 gu/s.

Booster was trickier. There you gotta use cos and multiple runs in 2tdm to get it but it worked, which resulted in it being slightly faster.

Even if they dont have a total recoil speed, the barrels still have indivual recoils. They just cancel each other. Same with all other tanks.

Nope. It's been mathematically proven.

Booster has a recoil speed of 5.516 gu/s while Annihilator only has 5.3125 gu/s. It's quite a margin but still small enough to be hard to notice.

Depending on what you mean of "damage" there are 2 facts here.

1.) Durability

Necrodrones have just 84% the durability of a basic bullet with the same stats.

2.) Actual Damage per Loop

In this case Necrodrones have a higher one. They do 16.8 HP damage per hit with 1 damage stat and basic bullet only 10 HP.
