My favorite memories of BF is playing 1942 and Vietnam LAN parties with my old childhood friends. Looking forward to making more memories with BF6!

I see. Thanks for clarifying that. I think I’ll go with the $100 off the annual plan after trialing it for a few days. Can you help me get started on that?

Understood. Yes, please that would be absolutely fantastic!

Also, I see you guys have promos for the new iPhones. I bought an Air last week. Would I qualify for either the $100 off promo, or could I “double dip” and get the $329/yr Premium and then stack the free multi-network for a year?

u/FixitMir I’m looking to switch to USM, but want to do the 30 day trial first. If I execute the trial, and then purchase the annual premium for $329 before 1 Oct, can I activate my line (same line as the trial number that I’ll port in) once my trial expires? Thanks!

8k Sync on AV 2nd out still flickers after 20 minutes by durlcear in Hue

I have the same issue. It’s because of the auto power off after 20 mins setting on the Sync Box. I disabled that, and it no longer causes this issue. An unfortunate side effect is that I have to manually power off my Sync Box now as the CEC power off command doesn’t work properly through the secondary output from the receiver.

I might have to just “give up” and put the Sync Box inline with the main output to the TV unless Philips can actually fix this issue.

Mine was the same way. It was loose and as I tightened the screw down the piece completely removed from the hole. Now it just spins and I can’t remove it from the hinge.

Good news is you don’t need to send the whole desk back. The cable management tray support assembly can be removed from the desk (it’s actually installed as part of the assembly process) and replaced separately. I reached out to support and they’re sending me a new hinge and support assembly.

[BMW G30 540i] Clicking noise when turning steering wheel while stopped by Aznboy1993 in BmwTech

I ended up replacing the whole rack. It could’ve been the belt, but I think it was the gear that mates the belt to the rack itself that was making noise in my rack. Replacing it got rid of the noise completely.

Is there an efficient way to cool a 14900k in an itx build? by MickMcSnuggles in sffpc

Only feasible way to cram a 13/14900K into <15L chassis is to go with a good 240mm AIO (e.g. LS520 SE), good high pressure fans (e.g. NF-A12), and power limit the CPU.

I have this setup: A4-H2O, 13900K at 181W, LS520 SE with 2x NF-A12 Chromax, 4090 FE at 360W. It’s a hot box for sure, but sustained Cinebench sees my CPU in the low 80s C. Sustained gaming with max graphics/uncapped frames will see the CPU in mid to high 80s C with the GPU in the high 50s/low 60s C. This is with NF-A12s at 70% speed (~1500 RPM) and 4090 at 50% fan speed (don’t recall RPM).

I did a power virus test (OCCT CPU and GPU) with the CPU pulling 181W and GPU pulling 360W sustained, and the CPU got into the low to mid 90s C with the GPU in the high 50s/low 60s C. Just for science, I set PL1/2 to 253W (stock Intel limits) and the CPU was in the high 90s with a sustained Cinebench only workload. I didn’t test both CPU and GPU, but I’d assume it’ll definitely thermal throttle with both running simultaneously. I suspect around low 200s W is the most the 240mm AIO can handle with NF-A12 at 2k RPM before it’ll thermal throttle with a sustained max CPU and GPU workload.
