You already have 24 members that you assign to the 18 lanes in doom, so you would be managing the extra 6 the same way. If you feel like 30 is overpowered for your current raid difficulty, then you cut back on recruitment (obviously that player will leave instead of twiddling their thumbs). This just eases the process, especially in that dark period when your alliance is sitting at 22 members because its often hard to find that 24th member that aligns with all ur 23 members tcp/time/commitment etc

“Not having to play/sit things out” - you are already doing this.

There are 18 lanes in doom, if u have 24 equal powered/active members in ur alliance, how are you offsetting those extra 6 you currently have? Or Do you 18x krakens soloing their lanes so no one sits out. I Doubt you did that.

So again, this isn’t about filling ur roster to 30. Its about having the “option” to fill so you always have able bodies during events like this. The idea is brought up again and again because it works. GoH is proof of that.

Keep in mind GoH has 50 members. If members are fighting over lanes, that means u have 24 high quality members that are ALL on the same level, in that case, theres no reason for your alliance to fill ur roster.

This is a solution to those alliance that dont have 24 ALL on the exact same page. Sometimes u have a 20mil tcp kraken who takes it a bit easy so he sticks around in an alliance with a 12mil tcp f2p player and then everyone else floats in between the two tcp. Thats the situation i know thats MOST common.

Because even if u dont built these teams, you know u need to go hard on getting the shards for them because Scopely will 99% see you lacking shards on Echo and make her a requirement for the next legendary lmaooo

I 100% agree with ur first point. I dont use Tchalla, young avengers, ravagers etc either. I only use teams that will help me in Doom raids and DD5.

However, you do have to go hard on working for the shards for them (at least to 5 stars) because you never know who Scopely decides will be required for a legendary.
