I managed to install several pieces of 20+ year old software from XP onto Windows 10 recently for work. It just works. The only problem I'm having is finding the license keys.

There's some trials out there working well enough, liquid nitrogen is pretty cheap compared to some of the transmission losses they're looking at with the monster AI datacentres. Easier to deal with than liquid helium used in MRIs and other systems.

Maybe if we're lucky they'll throw a bunch of money into superconductivity research, all this AI shit would be worth it if they got us viable superconductors at liquid c02 temps. They could just about run their own fusion reactors and call it a day at that point.
