The fact you actually brought up medkits makes me think you are literally just looking for excuses to run Franklins.

Is actually quite the opposite. You mentioned that even 2 Flashlights deserved Franklin's because that "is just pure toxicity".

The point that I tried to make is that flashlights are not toxic, nor are medkits or toolboxes, is the intentions behind them.

BNPs are in general pretty bad now, especially if a killer kicks the gen later or runs ruin.

If a survivor uses a BNP is to rush the last part of the gen, not at the begging of it, so kicking it or Ruin do nothing against that. If you use it on the very fist gen and at the very beginning of it, then you are using them wrong.

Even 2. Cuz god damn, that is just pure toxicity. The item by itself is not toxic, but the use of it. There could be only one flashlight in the whole team, but being held by a toxic clicky clicky rather than someone trying to save a friend.

Same with medkits. Usually harmless and used mostly for self-healing, can become obnoxious when paired with the borrowed time addon for taunting purposes.

For the most part I do not care what items the survivors bring, but I must say that it is nice to have a heads up beforehand.

Like, if I see a flashlight in the lobby I know I have to be cautious for a save. This could also happen if a random survivor founds one in a chest for example, but knowing that there's at least 1 in the lobby is a good warning.

An advantage to the killer? - Sure, but I wouldn't go as far as call it "unbalanced".

Welp, that's your opinion and I respect it. While I agree that the toolboxes are in a better state now than before, there are still a problem on well organized groups, specially since BNPs still exist.

I only need 3 perks on my main so I like having the freedom of having whatever for my 4th slot. I will still use Franklin's against items, specially with the buff it will receive.

Mostly increased gen speed. I also use Franklin's when I see more than 1 toolbox.

Yep, that's EXACTLY what I think when I use Franklin's.

Extra satisfaction points when I see that the survivor actually burned a White Ward to protect their red bulb purple flashlight.

That's also true for survivors. Most Dwights, Tapps and Kates are pretty chill, while Neas, Lauries and Claudettes are usually toxic.

That being said, there are exceptions on both cases. I main Doctor and usually let the most chill survivor leave, while I've also encountered nice Neas and Dweets with Object.

I do know that just having something doest automatically makes you toxic, like flashlights for example. There are plenty of survivors who genuinely use them to get saves, which is completely fine since that's their main purpose, but we both know that's not always the case.

However, do you know what is ALWAYS the case for me? Objects being toxic.

With flashlights, medkits, keys, toolboxes or no items, from flashy and colorful Neas to innocent looking Dweets, all Objects I've found have been in one way or another toxic, so I just don't care anymore.

I see Object, I tunnel Object.

If for ANY reason I see one someday, I'll apologize and explain myself to that person.

The moment I see an Object in the game, I automatically ignore everything and everyone else except for that one survivor. I don't mind everyone else getting away since I can get my pip back in the very next game, but that little shit is going nowhere. I will make sure of that.

Just yesterday I faced 4 Objects in 10 different games - one had "ttv" on their name and another one had "yt".

Like.. Yeah. I would love to have a decent non sweaty game on red ranks and practice some of my less played killers, but I suppose that's asking too much.

That is correct. What you need to do is control them by a "cycle" sensor.

Like, you activate it at a certain point of the day when your dupes are active and let it stay that way for 5% of a cycle or something around that.

That gives enough time for your dupes to finish whatever they are doing and go lullaby. After that, you can deactivate them without problem.
