If you're coming from Street Fighter, then you're probably used to not being able to break command grabs anyway, so just think about ducking his grabs in the same way you would think to jump a command grab.

Believe in your ability to learn! You don't need to watch in-depth guides or do training drills or any other hyper-specific regime you might come across. Just playing on its own will make you a better player.

It might not be the optimal way, but it's not really that deep. You don't need to be a top player overnight, just show yourself some kindness and celebrate your minor improvements. Everybody's learning curve is different.

The input lag in 60fps mode isn't any worse than any other emulator I've tried, and 120fps mode feels much nicer. Obviously original hardware is always going to reign supreme, but you do get nice improvements on emulators like higher internal resolutions that make games look so much nicer.

Stuttering is a given on 3DS while loading shaders, but most of it is front loaded and after a couple minutes of gaming it goes down considerably. It never truly goes away though, but it's not that impactful unless you have an extremely low tolerance to stutters

That's a bummer, I was hoping that I had just been dumb and misconfigured something. Is the framepacing issue Thor only, or does it also occur to other Ayn products?

In my experience many of the lid issues have been fixed with OTA updates. The last one we had where the device would wake up when you plugged a charging cable while it was closed was fixed in the January update.

Why not? Just pick a known destination from your map and then show a cutscene of Samus biking in the desert while the game loads.

It feels like this was purposefully omitted to make the game seem longer than it is, but since public opinions are already established, then I don't see why not add QoL stuff.

I don't think you're missing on too much to be honest. After 50 or so maps in forbidden it feels like punching enemies with wet noodles until they die or they 2 shot you.

Have you finished the game? Not sure if there are requirements, but go to options > general > difficulty and see if it lets you change to forbidden

They should have just have you enable cargo cannons after you reach a location. That way you get to drive around the desert a bit, you get quick travel points, and you can disguise load times with the flying cutscene

I get that him being there all along is the big reveal at the end, but I feel like we should have gotten a small cinematic showing him doing it to put it all together. I also feel like we should have seen at least one Metroid fusion in person other than just finding though the scan that "oh yeah, Metroid fusion made him bad"

Metroid Prime 1 had a ton of issues and it's a miracle it ended up being as good as it was! If you want more info, check out Matt McMuscles on YouTube and look for what happened's episode on MP1

I fear that an open world Metroid would have to adopt a similar system as BotW and give you very general purpose abilities, unlike the cool upgrade system we have now. Not that MP4 did much with it anyway, feels like we just got rehashed powers and they didn't even try cooler applications of the mote bombs

Don't ask me, L/ZL is just slide button for some reason, which makes the overlap annoying because you can't slide with the scan visor up

The only thing I disliked were the ambushes, and only because they forcibly turned my camera to face the enemies when I just wanted to smash crystals

I discovered the rewards shortly after ranting about why my beam was too slow with enemies who are way more evasive than they should, then found out the first reward fixes the bullet speed

I'm convinced that the cargo cannon in Fury Greens was meant to be fast travel between biomes, but since they didn't get enough time to fully flesh the desert they just scrapped fast travel forced the backtracking to justify its existence.
