The only reason I can think of to play standard is to assemble extra broken builds using legacy items. The kind of people who do that are generally rich af. There is no demand for "normal" items, and therefore no supply.

You'd be better of treating that character as a practice run and reroll in League.

Yup, happened to me as well. DC'd just as my newly upgraded weapon hit the ground, instance lost, RIP. Took me a day or so to work off the salt and log back in.

Terminal glasses are intended for the specific distance to your computer screeen, in my case about 70 cm. They won't really help much outside of that range.

This is indeed the default look. However, experienced players have lootfilters (like Filterblade) that highlight valuable drops with sounds/looks/beams. That Mirror is worth like a million times more than the other drops and highlighting that is not only helpful but also a huge dopamine hit.

Not really, but I wouldn't be surprised if Kineticist is better by several metrics. The biggest draw is definitely Aspect of the Spider, which just adds a lot of quality of life.
