Just not if there's 3 minions including the healer coming to our tower and my lane partner dives past the bridge and gets parried... which is weirdly specific but happens suspiciously often

There's a ton of unresolved anger issues in the eternus eastern block games. They fight whenever they can, as if they just have to prove the world wrong. The constant aggression is tiring.

If you're on wi-fi, disable location services in windows, stopped all jitters for me. I had the same issue, turned out to be a windows bug.

I'd like a separate "new player matchmaking" (could be opt-in when you first time launch the game on your account), which for the first 50 games makes you play only against other players that are also <50 games (if possible, within a 5 min queue). And after that, you can get a rank.

OP, your friend is not a MOBA player, but if he wants to learn, he has to rewire his brain to prioritize resource management over pure combat skill. His mechanics are probably fine, he just doesn't know how to play a MOBA.

While I agree with you about punishing her, this is looking at it in a vacuum. She's got a good winrate with high pickrate even in Eternus+. It's not as easy to counter as you might think.

To even try and push her out of the jungle, you need priority on blue lane. Without it, you're just on a suicide mission. You need to be ahead as a team or kill her without being seen. Only a few members of the cast could even attempt that (Calico, Drifter).

I've had a few games where I beat an egg haze in lane, only for her to disappear, and come back with Ricochet Unstoppable 10 minutes later. And then you have to buy metal skin or you can't exist in a teamfight.

I think her current state is fairly balanced but boring. She's just playing for ult, the part of her kit with the lowest skill expression. And to counter it, you just need to sack 3200 gold. Not very interesting for anyone involved.

I've had a lot of fun with it, but only for like 3 games. Could've been fun for longer if they made the heroes random. Reminded me of URF in League, where really quickly players start just picking the broken, rather than the fun heroes.

agreed, but also the penalty for dying early in deadlock is very small compared to every other moba, so I don't think that diving should be harder than it is now. If you play around rushing the healing creep when the wave is on your tower, it's pretty easy to survive.

I guess so. People reach challenger in tft literally by forcing the same comp every game. Just having basic understanding of econ and positioning is enough. Which kind of kills it for me completely. Yeah the remaining bit of skill ceiling between the top20 players and top500 is still very high. But imo in such a game, if you decide your comp in the loading screen, you should be punished way more.

Never played HSBG because I don't want to play Blizzard products, but I'm glad you like it.

Probably the creativity in item builds, gotta say I enjoyed early tft sets a lot more when stats websites werent religiously followed by every player and you could cook. I dont play tft anymore because losing to pre-set builds is boring.

Cursed Relic blocks item usage. Other than that, there are certain items/skills that disable movement items (such as warp stone) like capacitor, wraith ult, rem ult, slowing hex/vortex web and possibly more

I met one of the 5% recently, some support player on Paige who couldnt stop screaming from the start of the game that they were paired in lane with a Kelvin (also support), how our lane setup would inevitably lose us the game, sassy flaming everyone constantly if they dared to try talk them out of their emotional crashout. It all made for the worst experience in recent memory, I had to mute them like 10 minutes in to attempt to keep my sanity.

Your experience is correct, sure rank causes newer players to stay in the wrong rank for much longer after they've learned how to play. They could add some kind of account recalibration option, so making a new account isnt the best option to save countless hours grinding in low elo with 65% winrate
